very fun!
This model was a lot of fun to put together! The only issue was that I didn't realize the kit didn't come with glue, so I had to wait a few more days to start building than I'd hoped. But it's very pretty and very fun! Not quite child-beginner friendly, but certainly a good start for an adult beginner, or an older kid. A few of the tinier objects came in one piece rather than having the user build from scratch like other kits I've used. Maybe not for everyone, but I definitely appreciated it. I like putting together all the components but making dozens of individual flower petals out of paper, or building a kettle using only millimeter sized beads is a little too tedious even for me. I liked having a fun creative project to wind down with on weekends that didn't turn into frustration.I like that it came with a case to keep dust off, but getting the sticky protective paper off the clear plastic in one piece was surprisingly difficult, so keep that in mind!

Difficult and Perfect
This kit is exactly what I was looking for. I am learning so much on how to build houses and how to install lighting. My goal was to learn how to light a house and this kit is perfect. This kit is not for beginners. I struggle with how small some of the pieces are but I welcome the challenge. I love this kit and will be getting another. Not for beginners but a great challenge for the intermediate.

Lovely but tedious
The pieces are pre-cut, which is great. But they have to be popped out of their frames, which is tedious. You have to be very careful or you’ll break the little pieces. The little exacto knife included in the kit isn’t as sharp as it needs to be to cut the pieces free, unfortunately.Still, it is worth it.

Much too fragile
I bought the Time Impression kit because it has a vintage flair and I love the dark browns and greens. However, the pieces are extremely fragile and as a result this kit is not fun to put together for me. I sure wouldn’t recommend it for a first time build. One thing I did like was that the wood pieces had the numbers right on them which was very helpful. Not even sure if I will finish it. Someone else mentioned they couldn’t put the piano together. Well, shoot, it’s a main piece in this so that’s just not good now, is it? I had a similar issue putting the typewriter together. It took a few glasses of wine. 😂I’m definitely finding that the cheaper kits are just that, cheaper. Best one I have done was the Rose Garden Teahouse which was expensive, but quality. Caveat emptor, etc, etc.

Looks amazing once it’s all done!
I’m not gonna lie, this took me a decent amount of time (I worked on it gradually) but once I got the hang of everything I couldn’t wait to get home to work on it some days.I made some decorative changes and added some personal touches. I still plan on adding and making minor changes to make it all official! ( My plan was to always put a spooky touch on it )Can’t wait to do more!

Fragile but good directions
Extremely fragile on some parts. Definitely need the tweezers, fast drying super glue, and good scissors/xacto knife. Pushing the pieces out are the hardest part because they break easily. I wasn’t able to do the piano because of broken pieces. Definitely a good project!

It is missing so many lights!
I just started this project and realized I am missing so many lights! The kit only came with 5 lights. I’m very sad 😭
