It would depend on how you have your Floyd Rose setup and the guitar. On my surface mount, it doesn't touch, but again, depends on your setup.

Q: Will this work on a a telecaster type bridge?

No this will not work on a tele type bridge. This is designed for a fluid Rose floating tremolo system.

Q: Is there a reason why the Wolfgang Standard's dont come with these Standard?
