Great value
I just started pattern routing and needed double faced tape. Description, reviews and in particular, price led me to this brand. Having never used double faced tape before, I had nothing to compare it to but it performed extremely well. Stuck the pattern to the boards very well and came off easily leaving no residue on my workpiece. One pattern I needed to make two of and was able to reuse the tape that was on the pattern piece.

Best for woodworking.
This is my 3rd time ordering Xfasten woodworking tape. It is strong and comes off without damaging the taped surfaces. It is so strong, in fact, that it’s way too easy to use too much! I recall a time when I had to use a wide putty knife to get the items apart. I damaged the parts, the tape didn’t! Anyway, it’s great for template routing and for holding holding boards, etc., together for gang cutting and sanding.

FAR superior to Shurtape!
For years I have used Shurtape's double-stick tape for woodworking like pattern routing on my router table. It does stick the pieces together securing so I have no complaint there. BUT it is just a time-consuming pain to get the covering tape of the top of ShurTape so it functions as a double-sided tape. I have often given up using it and using screws instead since I could very often not get the tape the covering tape started to removed it. Enter XFasten Double-Sided Tape! WOW what a difference. The covering tape comes off very easily. No struggle, no frustration, no time wasted. The double-stick tape works very well; it even held when a small oval piece was thrown against the wall when the piece was thrown out of its holder! Frank in Eugene, OR.

Works pretty well, but very gooey
Tape works pretty well holding together pieces of wood. Only complaint is that the edges are very gooey and very hard to pull the three rolls apart. I anticipate that the rolls will stick to wherever I store them in the future and be difficult to tear off.

Easy, Quick, Just Right
I was using left over double stick tape from plastic insulation window film kits. That stuff is a nightmare to get the backing off of. This tape has a thin foam type core so it dents a bit and allows you to get the backing off much more easily. It stays in place very well, but that means you have to be a bit careful taking it off. If it's close to an edge, it may pull some fibers out when you take it off. I don't see any way around that. Either it sticks and may pull out some fibers or it slips. I'll take having to carefully remove it over a template slipping and ruining a piece.

Works great!
I heard about XFasten Double Sided Woodworking Tape from a woodworking internet video, where it was highly recommended for router work. I had previously tried several carpet tapes, but I didn't like their performance. I went on Amazon and in a day or two I had a 3-roll pack delivered to my door. After several days of use, I must say that this tape does a really good job of holding my work down when I’m routing. Even a little dust in the environment doesn’t phase it. The adhesion is so good, I wondered if separating my work from my sacrificial base surface would be difficult, but it was not a problem. I sometimes use a thin, slotted screwdriver to start the separation, but otherwise, my work pieces separate using my bare hands. When separating the workpiece from the base, the tape separates cleanly and in one piece - it doesn’t tear into pieces. So far, I haven't seen it damage any wood surfaces. Removal of the used tape from a surface is easy and I’ve seen no residue left behind. An excellent product.

Great for woodworking.
Works great. I was able to use the tape to adhere some panels to a melamine shelf board for planing to 3/16” thickness. The tape releases without leaving residue. A little bit goes along way.
