Upon first use, I felt right at home. I am new to eyeshadows and very much a beginner. Its very intimidating placing a huge blob of eyeshadow with traditional eyeshadow brushes (even small ones) on my dinky hooded eyelids... I just want to add a little bit of flair dammit >< Besides, on my eyes, even small eyeshadow brushes leave little room to spread and blend. They are tinyyyyy but effective (and cheap @ 7$) for small area placement. 2 of them are both rounded edged while the metal barrel is flattened (1 slightly larger than the other) like for spreading a small line. These were perfect for placing right above my crease to reduce that baggy hooded look. 1 is a slightly rounded very flattened barrel (like for eyebrows or stamping eyeshadow as a liner). 1 is a tapered round barrel for adding dots of shadow. Note, these are NOT eyeliner brushes.. aka no super fine 0.3 mm pencil lines. More like 1mm for a very small smokey eye. Picks up plenty of eyeshadow for such a small size too. Works esp well for extremely pigmented eyeshadows (like viseart). Wouldnt recommend them for lightly pigmented eyeshadows cuz you might not see anything. Would work for cream eyeshadows too because the bristles are stiff enough. They kinda poke the eye skin a bit, but they are by no means too rough.

These little brushes were exactly what I was looking for. They work really well for eye makeup details and the quality is great. They don't scratch up my skin and they apply eyeshadow and eyeliner well. I'm especially impressed because they were so affordable.

Small enough to be precise. Works well. I find mine stays soft if I clean it off with an alcohol wipe.

It was not easy to find mini/tiny version of brush. Quality seems just ok. (you get what you pay for) but I really love the size and price is unbelievable for four different types of brush.

So far I like bought this because my lids are smal and it's hard to find brushes for nearly hooded . The seems soft but firm to smudge and do a defined crease. Will update as I just purchased. Give me a month.

Most brushes are too big for me because of my hooded eyes. These are perfect and tiny enough to line both my upper and lower lash line so easily. I like using dark eyeshadows to line and it's been hard for me to smoke out the upper line because my other brushes were just too big. The line would end up too thick or just blend my eyeshadow away into nothing. These are the perfect size and have made application so much quicker. Brushes are soft yet sturdy and they've washed well so far. Very pleased with this purchase. Give them a try if you have smaller or hooded eyes. It's also easy to flick a small cat eye too.

I bought a new eyeliner that is a bit too hard, and the lines are very distinct. I don’t have the smoothest hand..and it looked like a 3year old with a crayon. Decided to see if I could find something to smudge it with..and this works perfect! I had been using a q tip…but that picked up too much color. This moves it around and creates a soft smudged line.

I am a retired makeup artist, making me pretty picky about the brushes I buy for myself. I'm also 48 with super hooded eyes and a double lash line. These tiny brushes are the perfect size, shape, and bristle density to smudge gel and kohl eyeliners into and across the lashline, buff out liner for smoky looks, create precise winged liners, and apply dark powder shadows at the outer corners without significant fallout. I may even buy another set! These brushes also work well for precise application of cream and powder concealer.
