Good for HTPC
I am using this memory in my AMD HTPC and it works flawlessly - has been for about a week now. It does not get hot at all which tells me that the cooling on these modules are working. This is a no frills module designed for the average pc...if you are intending to purchase this ram with the intent of overclocking it then I would advise you to reconsider. I gave it 5 stars because: 1. Instant compatibility with most AMD systems built in the past year or two (based on my own testing) and 2. Price...it was cheaper than other major brands with similar specifications (DDR3,CL9, 1600MHz). Basically, for forty dollars I got 4GB of ram with the Kingston reliability that is compatible with MOST AMD systems. Repeat - Do NOT overclock this ram (It can overclock but not by much...you are better off spending a few more dollars on Corsair, Mushkin or OCZ)

Good DDR3 Ram for a Cheap Price
Installed these DDR3 ram into an Asus P5G41T-M LX Plus mobo with a stock configuration of 1333mhz FSB with no problem. Overclocked my computer but was only able to reach 1527mhz FSB (9-9-9-24) which didn't allow these ram to even reach their stock speeds. Not Kingston's fault, mobo was just limited in the overclocking department. Voltage at 1.65v at 1600mhz is a little high for oc'ing past that speed but due to my limited mobo this was not an issue for me.Edit: Since I've changed the mobo to a MSI P43-51, I was able to reach tighter timings.-Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.00ghz oc'ed to 3.60ghz-HIS ATI Radeon HD 6670 1gb DDR5 oc'ed to 900/1150mhz-MSI P43-51 mobo-Kingston HyperX Blu 4gb (2x2gb) DDR3 (8-9-8-23)-Samsung 830 64gb SSD & 2 1tb Seagate HD's for storage-Coolmaster Hyper TX3-Antec BP500U ATX 12V 500W PSU-Rosewill Redbone ATX Mid Tower with 2 120mm fans

Just good memory!
It's not the most expensive memory you can purchase. But I can tell you it performs magnificently! The tiny bit more performance you can get from double the price just isn't worth it. If you feel compelled to spend more just buy 8GB and get a lot more speed than you can with "better" memory. In this case quantity beats quality every time.

Great Ram for an Excellent Price
I have been a fan of Kingston Ram for a while, and I am using the HyperX Blu 8GB kit in my gaming build, and thought that this would be excellent ram for a budget build as well, as you get 4GB 1600MHz ram for under $60, with the 8GB kit being not much more. The sticks themselves are visually appealing, they don't have any ridiculous heat spreaders, but the blue fits with a lot of builds, and their low profile helps them work with a wide variety of CPU coolers.I am very happy with this purchase, and this is versatile ram. I have yet to find something to complain about.

Very happy with this product.
Solid product for a good price. Very fast performance and a low heat signature. I run anywhere from 2-10 applications at a time without problems. No bad ram as of yet.Note: 1600 is technically overclocked. You need to configure this profile in your BIOS. Many boards won't automatically use this setting. I didn't realize this until a month later.

Don't use with ASROCK PRO4/MVP H77
Upgraded my motherboard/memory and bought these for the Asrock H77 PRO4/MVP board I got. Computer kept shutting down (no crashes, just a blackout like you pulled the plug). This kept happening at random intervals from a few hours to 72 hours. I was being driven crazy trying to determine the cause. This is NOT an overclocking motherboard so that was definitely out. Using Intel Ivy Bridge processor which is listed as compatible with 1600mhz memory. I replaced the power supply, pulled other boards out, ran memory tests, NOTHING. Then I remembered I had a set of 1333 ddr3 that was left over from another build. Swapped these out and so far so good. Don't know if the memory itself was defective (don't think so since I ran memory tests and no problems). Just some kind of weird compatibility problem I guess.Update: July 2013 Been running the "slower" 1333mhz memory for months now - no problems at all.

2GB per module
It was my mistake. I ordered these modules because price was good. Unfortunately, price was good because they were 2 GB per module and not 4 GB, which is what I wanted. When I looked deeper into what is available and what my motherboard could handle, I decided to replace my existing 2x4 GB modules (which I originally had) and the 2x2GB (which I bought), with 4x8GB (which hopefully allows me to never have problems every again with insufficient memory in my computer).

Great inexpensive memory
I already have this memory in my desktop and wanted more memory since I do alot of gaming and it works very well. I have never had a problem with it and you are also able to overclock it which is another reason I chose this.
