Reliable Trickle Charger for Peace of Mind
As a DIY enthusiast who values reliable tools, the Foval Automatic Trickle Battery Charger has been a fantastic addition to my workshop. This charger has been a game-changer for keeping my 12V batteries in top condition. One thing I truly appreciate about this charger is its simplicity and effectiveness. It's incredibly easy to use, just plug it in and connect it to the battery, and it takes care of the rest. The automatic feature is a real lifesaver, ensuring the battery is charged to the right level without any risk of overcharging. This has given me great peace of mind, especially when leaving it connected for extended periods. The charger's compact size is another bonus. It doesn’t take up much space, making it perfect for my crowded workbench. Plus, the LED indicators are clear and helpful, letting me know the charging status at a glance.I’ve used it on various 12V batteries, from my car to my lawnmower, and it performs consistently well. It's great not having to worry about battery maintenance as much anymore. The trickle charge keeps them in good shape, ready to go whenever I need them. The only minor downside I've noticed is the length of the cables, which could be a bit longer for more flexibility in positioning. However, this is a small issue compared to the many benefits this charger offers. In summary, the Foval Automatic Trickle Battery Charger is a must-have for anyone looking to maintain their 12V batteries effortlessly. Its reliability, ease of use, and compact design make it an excellent choice for both casual and serious DIYers. It's a small investment that pays off big in terms of convenience and battery longevity.

Works perfectly for my garage door inverter battery. Excellent!!
I live in Japan.Long Story Short Version - After WWII, Japan received help from both the USA and England in rebuilding their electrical power infrastructure. The result is that parts of the country run on 50 Hz while other parts run on 60 Hz. I happen to live in the 50 Hz zone, so when I import electric-powered goods, it's hit and miss what will work. Case in point, my Chamberlain garage door opener. It sat for 6 years without being used because it never worked properly. I went through everything I could think of (including days on the phone with Chamberlain [warranty voided automatically]) but could never make it work. A few months ago, at a friend's house, he opens the garage door with a Chamberlain! His house is almost 100% off-grid. What he discovered was ... when he switches over to grid-power, he opener also doesn't work. The answer was in his main power, with was run by an inverter that outputs 110V@60 Hz. NOTE:I also tried a step-up converter to go from 100V to 120V, but that didn't do anything. My solution was to buy an inverter (120V@60Hz) and hook it up the same way my friend did, which worked. The final piece of the puzzle was 'how to keep the battery fully charged'. Ideally I could run the trickle charger from the inverter and have the electric charger equivalent of a perpetual motion machine, however ... it doesn't work. So, I'm running both a solar panel charger (during the day) and the trickle charger (at night) and it works brilliantly.SIDENOTE: With the inverter running 24/7, it draws down just enough power overnight that the inverter will not work in the morning. (For anyone who's interested, the REAL problem is my battery doesn't have enough Ah. At only 28 - the smallest battery I could find - it's not enough. If I double the Ah [which I did for a test - wife was gone for the weekend, so I pulled the battery out of the Honda Fit and connected it to the inverter battery with jumper cables] it lasts for 3 days without a charge. And I'll bet I cycled the opener at least 10 times a day.)I bought this charger figuring that I wasn't losing much $$ if it didn't work correctly, and if it DID work, but the charger burned out quickly I would just buy another, stronger charger. So far, no complaints at all. It's a great value and with the ring connectors, it was a snap to hook up to my system.

Works great, easy installation
Works great. Easy installation. I used it in a 2001 Suzuki DRZ400. The cable is long as can be seen in my pictures which allows you to keep the base by a wall and have room to reach over the seat to the battery. I have the attachment come out below and on the side of the seat for easy access It keeps the battery fully charged. I live in a cold location in the winter and it does a great job.
