It not only work for fur.... it works for other things that get stuck in your dogs fur like burrs... NOT THE BIG BURRS you may have to cut those out.. but the smaller burs... my dog was cover in burs a few swipes of this brush they came out. slowly but surely saving me lots of time..( probally about an hour) I showed this to my sister who was about to but a really expensive brush.. ( she can afford it ) she used this once and she is now buy one of these . no need to go to a hight priced pet store... this is comfy to hold, there is a hole in the handle so you cane hang it with you other dog stuff. when you are done brushing just push the big black button ans the brissile retract ALL THE WAY IN .. ( alot of brushes dont seem to do that wich sucks) but this one does.. them just BLOW on the brush after retracted and all the fur or what ever is history.. build well not flimsy this brush is a MUST have ...sure there " may" be a better brush out there.. but who care just buy this i promise it will be the best 12 bucks you have spend in a while. ..just buy it , be done with it and move on to the next thing your dog needs.. by the way my dog is a lab husky mix

Wow I love it and so did the dog he didn’t flinch when it was time to brush him and clean up was a breeze.This was three layers of fur after I brushed the cat each time. She loves it too

This brush is a nifty alternative to the usual dog brushes with sharp needle like wires. All you have to do is brush and press a button to release the fur without dealing with the sharp edges of the usual brushes. It’s a bit heavier but still works well and is nice to have. I would recommend it, but it is more like one of those “I don’t need it, but it would be nice to have” items.

This works so well. I have 3 dogs and that can be a lot of hair, especially the shepherd's. You never have to take the hair off the brush, one click and the bristles disappear and hair just slides off into your trash basket! I love this brush, it it not small either! It's a good size, we have one small and 2 large size pups and it is very wonderful. Recommend!!

The brush fits in hand nicely and the push button hair removal feature is great. Unfortunately the brush’s wires are angled weird and it doesn’t really work at all. I’ve used a variety of brushes on my German Shepherd and this is the only one he won’t tolerate. It seems to scratch him or cause him discomfort and only really works if you hold it at a weird angle.

Just as everyone says, it is easy to use and the retractable teeth make for easy cleaning as well as having it be smooth as you train puppy to get used to being brushed.

This product works well. The pins are sharp and they have to be in order for the mechanical portion of removing the hair from the brush to work. Some dogs may be too sensitive to the pins. Brush lightly. For my dog, this works well and she looks forward to her brushings.

I would give it five stars except that it is a bit of a pain having to hold down the button while brushing, especially for someone like me with arthritic fingers. However, other than that it works very well.
