I use these in a looped water-cooling system where I have to break the lines occasionally without introducing air (thus avoiding re-priming the system). They are easy enough to take apart and reattach, especially if a little bit of grease is applied (in my case food-safe). They close with a nice audible click to confirm a lock. I have experienced minimal to no air infiltration even when disassembled for an extended period. They are a bit pricey, but are worth it since they are a perfect solution for my application. They are built tough, so should last a long time. I assume the o-ring inside is replaceable, but I hope to never have to find out.

3/8th diameter works for my application. water and body fluids is what it contacts and it works Pros drop in replacement for dry suit pee valve quick disconnect robust and rugged design, feels and looks like US version works as designed, plus double o ring sealed half price of US version, low cost Cons the catheter end is also 3/8 dia and not tapered, so slightly more work to insert catheter but it fits snug somewhat physically larger than US version of quick disconnect
