Great product, great for pc mods.
Great product. I use them in my pc desk mods. I do wish cables were longer. But i use them in a custom way. Most people will be fine with cable length.

Six USB 2.0 ports and SD card reader stopped working after a few weeks
I bought this as part of an general upgrade replacing my motherboard, CPU, operating system, etc. My case already has two integrated front-panel USB ports, a headphone jack, and a microphone jack, so I wanted this media dashboard for the two USB 3.0 ports, the six USB 2.0 ports, and the SD card reader. On my first startup after upgrading, only the two USB 3.0 ports worked, and the LED indicator, briefly illuminated, went dead. I put this down to the teething problems of an upgraded build, since I couldn't imagine a glorified USB hub being dead on arrival. People all but give out USB hubs as party favors, don't they? After a couple weeks of casual work upgrading drivers and tweaking settings, I got the headphone and microphone jacks working. A few days later, the media dashboard's LED indicator came on at boot, and everything else I needed on this device suddenly started working: the six USB 2.0 ports and the SD card reader (I use an adapter to read a microSD card in the SD card slot). I assumed that all of my setup problems had been mere software issues.A couple of weeks after this, the LED indicator went dark again while I used the computer, and I lost the functionality of all the USB 2.0 ports and the SD card reader. Now I realize that the company selling this device does not appear to have any contact information. The pace of my casual upgrade, combined with the intermittent functioning of this media dashboard, stretched out just long enough in time to go over the default period of the Amazon return policy.

An easy way to connect devices.
My case doesn't have any 3-1/2" open bays, so I needed something that would fit a 5-1/4" bay. This fit the bill. It give me plenty of USB ports for working with Arduinos, as well as other projects. It also give me a fast way to attach disk drives for fast imaging. The card readers work well, though I only use 3 of them. I haven't used the audio jacks, so I don't know how well they work.About the only thing I wish was different is the power jack. I wish it was a female jack. I have a couple of cables that have the power cable and the data cable for connecting up a SATA drive. But I have to use a female to female adapter to to connect the power cable. You also need to keep the protective cap on it when not in use. It is too easy to short out the exposed pins! I guess someone thought of that, because they include the protective cover, but I wish they had used a female plug instead.

Easy to install and works!
This was just what I needed to put in my desktop tower. I was tired of using those little USB card readers. Has plenty of USB ports, audio and mic ports, reads all of the memory cards I need, and has some extra ports I will probably never touch. It hasn't let me down yet! Two big thumbs up for this product. If you need certain ports and then some, I would recommend getting this multi-function media device for your desktop! And for those who are wondering, yes, I am running Windows 10 x64 Professional on my computer.
