Missing a few components, but overall promising
I have an old TravelPro dropbottom duffel that I love. Every time it breaks, I get it repaired because I haven't been able to find one that comes close. But, it's finally at the end of it's life. This bag comes pretty close to the TravelPro (the design of the current TravelPro's have changed). It's a similar size and has a flexible exterior so it collapses for storage - yet it still seems durable. It does lack a few things -- it could use some additional outer pockets on either end and it lacks straps to hold clothes in place. All it all, it has potential, though.

purchased for a cruise and bag seams split during the trip. had to return the bags and I don't trust that the seams will hold when you pack the bag overstuffed. I chose this bag because of the placement of the wheels. Wheels that are visible from the side are Cantilever mounted. Such mounting is less substantial than a mounting system that allows the shaft holding the wheels to be stabilized on each end. This bag does not have cantilever mounted wheels, and the wheels held up very well. The other good aspect of this size bag is that it is difficult reach the 50lb weight limit. I stuffed it and it was never above 45lbs. I wish the seams had held, but will keep looking.
