Fiorucci

Get any book you can of the glory days of skinny jeans, champagne & disco glitter. You will long for the Pop Life. Loved the graphics & content, but I'm taking a star away for the way the iconic posters were presented. I wish each had been shown separately on a full page, not shown in a row and somewhat cut up so that some images are in the center alley or off the page to be continued. I know, you can see them in their entirety on the internet. But this is why I got the book.

Very disappointed! All the images in the book are the ones we have seen it all and available on internet. Wouldn’t suggest buying the book at all .Very limited , you can find much more on Pinterest Instagram and google

I liked the quality of the book, the graphics are great and comes with lots of them, specially at middle surprise section. What concerns to historical facts the only thing I didn't liked is that this could've been a lot more insightful and strong book, the contents are good but kinda superficial and the interviewer often ashamed himself with the interviewed, having not so great questions to ask or giving too much opinion.I really like Fiorucci but I think they can do better, maybe a more historical and special facts in the book, like photos of the offices or information about the designers behind Fiorucci. The foreword by Sofia Coppola isn't that awesome neither, despite I also love Sofia Coppola.For graphic reference this book has GREAT value, the illustrations are awesome, but in historical side not so much.

Book is great but arrived damaged. Shipping box was okay.

This book pretty much was a failure. David Owen is the great mind behind Idea Books, which i'm a big fan of. The book was colorful and graphic, and did display some cool artwork/graphics. But it seemed very thin/weak in content, unfortunately. Photos & artwork that have been seen already. It's as if they couldn't find any unseen content. Perhaps there wasn't any? Luckily I only paid $20 for it on ebay. Rizzoli books are usually great, especially there fashion books. I feel the Padilha brothers would have done a much better job. Their 3 fashion books with Rizzoli are quite extensive with original, unpublished images/content that really have a "WOW" factor.

I loved being transported back to my days as a kid in New York, wandering through the wonderland that was Fiorucci in the '80s. The color and design of the book really captures the feel of the store, which to me (as a young person with little money to spend) was what it was all about. And the book has now inspired my new hair color.

Bellissimo libro, immagini delle pubblicità di Fiorucci che sono impresse nella mia memoria, ci sono interviste (in inglese) tra gli altri anche a Oliviero Toscani e Marc Jacobs. Contiene anche alcune figurine. Stupendo
