Tacaway Adhesive Remover Wipes - 50 per Box - 2 Pack

I have tried many adhesive removers and like this one the best. It removes very tacky 4x4" protective skin sheets - and does not leave a residue that prevents the next product from sticking.

This product is one of my favorites for getting my CGM and insulin pod off. It helps me protect my skin and take away the adhesive all the way. This would be great for anyone who has to chronically put adhesive material on their skin and will help reduce irritation caused by removing the product. This will always be in my diabetic medical box because it works so well. The downside of this product is the cost. Compared to other products this is kind of expensive. However, I travel a lot and only intend on traveling more making this quick addition to my diabetic go bag easy to have, and I know it wont dry out or get confiscated by TSA. It was also great to have when I first started using a CGM and insulin pod since it was recommended by my diabetic educator.

Husband used tape to help hold diabetic sensor on body due to sweat. Tape leaves residue upon removal. These pads really help to loosen and remove that residue.

They are what they are. I use them to wipe off sticky residue left on my skin when I remove my Dexcom. Easy and they work.

I'm a type 1 diabetic and I use a lot of things that use adhesive and leave sticky goo on my skin and equipment all the time. These swabs get the job done quickly and cleanly!Be cautious if you wear fake nails or gel polish. It will weaken them by removing the "adhesive" properties.

Here's the thing that I've discovered while wearing various insulin pumps - The adhesive that keeps the devices stuck to my body through all sorts of activities actually takes its toll on my skin.My new pump is a Pod made by Insulet called the Omnipod - a great little device that has freed me from tubing. These things stick through swimming, motorcycle riding, hiking, gardening, actually I've yet to lose one. The only adhesive remover that makes it possible to remove the pod without pain is Tacaway. I carry them with my pod kit and keep a full box on reserve just so I never have to worry about not having my Tacaway handy.
