A bit fiddly trying to get the grips on, but I managed it with my long nails 😅 Grip quality seems good, and fits the Steam Deck OLED nicely. Finally, they look super cute.

You get what you see in the picture. They are a bit fiddly to install, but they're nice and snug so you shouldn't have any isssue with them popping off during gameplay. If you have chunky fingers this may not be for you as the plastic is both snug and tight making the installation a bit trickier than a PS or Xbox controller given that the Deck sticks are also smaller.

These thumb caps for the Steam Deck are really good quality — they feel great under the thumbs and give that extra bit of grip and comfort during long gaming sessions. Once they’re on, they’re on — no slipping or sliding, which is exactly what you want. That said, getting them on in the first place is a complete pain. It takes a bit of patience (and maybe some finger strength), but once you manage it, you won’t need to worry about them budging. Overall, very sturdy, feel fantastic, and I’d definitely recommend — just be ready for a bit of a wrestle getting them fitted!

I bought these for my steam deck and for my wife’s Rog Ally (which was originally mine until she realised she liked it and I had to buy a steam deck). They are really comfortable and I find it hard to play without them. They fit perfectly and look great. Unfortunately my cats also love them and mine have gone missing, I suspect my cats have pinched them and hidden them away. I will definitely be buying more, we love them.

These thumb grips give a much better feel to the stock grips on the Steam Deck. The textured surface decreases the chance of thumbs slipping off the sticks. They are a very tight fit and I'd advise lots of patience with them. Once on, they stay put and will not slide off. One thing to be aware of....these grips raise the height of the thumb sticks on the Steam Deck. The Deck still fits inside stock carry case, but you'll find there's almost no room between the top of the new grip and the inside of the case when it's closed. If you gently push down on the top of the case, you can feel the thumb stick click.

I am not usual guy who complains about production, however if I am unsatisfied with the product and achieved result I will share my experience. Installing certainly wasn’t any easy task! Eventually I had to heat it up in hot water and turn it inside out before I was finally able to put it on, honestly after all the hustle I was surprised that my ps5 controller was still functioning as I was already prepared to buy a new one. However, reason why I bought it because after playing games for 20 minutes using controller my thumb will start hurt and I though this could make some difference but made no difference at all, hence money wasted. I am not saying this won’t work for everyone, maybe my case is individual however here I am talking about my experience. Certainly if you spend a lot of time on controller, you should be looking for some sort of solution.

Great gadget to compensate for joysticks that are dust/grease magnets! Only downside is that my cats seem very keen on biting them off of my steamdeck.

Review - (Raised Dots & Studded Design) The stock Steam Deck thumb stick grips are honestly terrible, flat with no texture or material grip made my thumb slip while using it. This was the first thing I noticed when using the Steam Deck for the first time and knew that a thumb stick cap was needed. There was a couple other brands I looked at, but this was exactly what I was looking for - simple design, depth for thumb placement, perimeter raised dots for added grip, grippy rubber design. The only note is for actually installing the caps over the Steam Deck joysticks. Its a very tight fit - which is great and means there is zero looseness once installed. Follow the noted instructions on the product page and take your time folding it over the edges.

I like these. It gives my thumb a nice comfort grip.
