i loved it. My wife read it and asked when did I talk to Doug Giles. LOL!! Plan on ordering a few more to pass as gifts to some of my Patriotic Grandpa's that I know!! LOVEI have a grandson who is sometimes referred to by his older brother as a nerd, but my wife told him to refer to himself as an INTELLECTUAL BADASS. His parents won't let their children swear so she made him a pillow with it stiched into the pillow. so whenever he is called a nerd he just points to his pillow. LOL. He is also conservative so I might get him a copy of this book. He'll love it.

Outstanding if you like patriotism.
I did not make it is more than a few pages before my wife asked me what I was laughing about.I might be finding it more humorous than others may due to a lot of the Grandpa Quotes easily could have been said by my Dad or me.

If you're looking for intellectual food, just remember the pages start with, "My Grandpa says..."
This book is a collection of thoughts and essays that are entertaining and inspiring. Some of them only affect you if you put deep thought into them, others are as subtle as a punch to the throat.

What can I say? I am a 100% Doug Giles fan. Gotta love someone who tells it as it is, no PC Bullcrap. I'm giving this to my husband from our grandkids. I'm sure he will love it. Thank you

Funny, but as usual with good humor, very close to the truth. I laughed all the way through the book.
