These will not break, very high quality stainless steel items here. Perfect fit and replacement for the cheap plastic factory items. My plastic original connectors lasted 19 years so I shouldn't complain too much, but these steel ones will last forever.

When I bought my truck I realized it had no heater in the cab. When I started investigating I realized the original heater core adapter had broken so the previous owner bypassed the heater core. Work like they are supposed to. Had some trouble getting the old ones off, but these went right on and latched in with no problem. Let the engine get to operating temperature then ran for 30 minutes. No leaks. Great product. Would recommend to others.

Much better than the original plastic ones. Better price here than local auto parts stores. A deepwell socket that fits over the hose barb but rests on the shoulder is a big help for pushing these on. If you don't hear a click, wiggle/pull on it to make sure it seated. The removal tools definitely help as well. Truck has 275K miles, expect that these will last twice that long.

2011 Silverado 5.3 - bought a hose that had the incorrect inlet/outlet installed on it. Cut it off, couldnt get hose to fit so I picked this up. Fit perfect, no hassle install, no leaks atm. Couldnt of been easier - if the other side breaks I will buy this again.

While working in the engine bay (08 Silverado) I managed to break off the plastic heater hose connection at the firewall. Kind of glad it did happen then as I’m sure it was on the way out! Common problem on these gm trucks. Ordered the pair as well as the orange removal tool. Takes some finessing removing the plastic fittings but doable. I had trouble putting one in and hearing how delicate the heater cores are I didn’t want to smack it on with a hammer so I applied some grease and helped it slip on.
