I have a good set up with my Cichlid fish but the water occasionally becomes cloudy, not severely so but I notice it and it features me. So I bought this product because of the reviews. There are cheaper brands out there but I wanted to be safe so I decided on this brand. It was simple to clear the water by following instructions on the bottle pouring. The amount suggested in the instructions, and within a couple of hours, the water was very clear.. Apparently it works by making small particles clump together, so that filter can catch them and therefore making the water look clearer. It was difficult to see much the difference through the uploaded video as only one video is allowed soo posted a photo but there was definitely a great improvement. Highly recommended

Works quickly and it does not interfere with crustaceans like other brands do.
