Great product.
I was runing out of room in my safe, which I had originally only intended for a shotgun. I needed a solution for my 2 new handguns and didn't want a new safe. So, the inner door was a logical spot. I was skeptical when these arrives, because they were smaller than I thought. However each one firmly holds a handgun with no problem.My only tip. If you are drilling into a metal safe, don't drill through the holes in teh magnets. The metal shavings stick to the magnet and some will transfer to your gun

Excellent alternative to a vehicle holster
Excellent alternative to a vehicle holster, which I could never figure out how to mount both conveniently and securely in my truck. Magnet is very strong and pistol stays in place. Only reason it's not 5 stars is that the cover is very "plasticy" and not rubbery. Makes it feel cheap, and the pistol can relatively easily slip to the side if bumped. A rubbery surface would improve this product in my opinion.

These are as described
I thought these adequate to hold a pistol in place but larger pistols have a tendency to fall when grabbed or bumpted and come off the magnet very easily (almost too easily). I put one under my seat in the car using it for a 9 mm S & W pistol and the bumps and road hazards knocked it loose. It worded great for a smaller 380 pistol. I recomend this gun magnet for certain applications with certain smaller pistols.
