My man is a police officer, and works the graveyard shift, I bought this to help him sleep during the day. We have a window in our room where the sun is beaming in, we have shades but it doesn’t cover the light completely, I added these and the room is completely dark as if it is nighttime! I completely recommend these, however I did get the black one not sure if other colors make a difference.

Let me begin by noting that the lighter, beige color will not “blackout” the sunlight but reduces the light. If you want full blackout, go with a darker color.With that said, I LOVE these curtains and always comment this to my husband. I wanted to reduce the sunlight in our living room because where we live, in the summers the sun will heat the home pretty good. They work perfectly!I love that the light is diffused so that our living room is not super dark during the day. We love our sunny home but the heat can be too much in the summertime.We installed them during the peak of summer heat and immediately noticed a profound change in the temperature in our living room, I quickly purchased more for each room of our home. I used darker versions for other rooms for more sunlight to be blocked, especially the rooms where it shines the strongest because of fewer trees on that side.What surprised me was the winter time! My chair is next to a window and I am usually very cold. The curtains are sturdy and helped block the cold and I was warmer this past winter.I also wanted to check how much the curtains block the light from outside looking in. During the evening, I went outside, after dark, and I was amazed to see that even though they are beige they blocked the light from inside my home. So someone looking at my home would only see a small halo around the perimeter of the window to tell a light is on but cannot see how many of my lights are on. This is for someone who wants as much privacy as they can get. It was not impostor me, but still worth noting.

I like the color, and they seem good quality. It doesn’t quite keep out as much light as I’d like when the sun is shining directly at the window. But it keeps the room dark for those who sleep during the day

This is a good, well made block out curtain. The only drawback is there is no header at the top like traditional curtains. It is a rod pocket only. It works well in my area.

These are used in my bedroom that gets the morning sun and they have really made a difference. I'm pleased enough that I ordered two more.

A new neighbor moved in and decided to install a million watt bulb in his driveway which shines into our bedroom window. Decided to try some darkening curtains.I agree with some of the other reviews: these are not well made. The stitches are large and very visible. The dimensions seem a little off: a bit longer than 36" and not quite as wide as stated.However, they are perfect for what we needed. I already had a double rod on the windows (my curtains and valances). Took down the valances, moved my nice curtains to the front rod and put these on the back rod, which solved the 'visible stitch' problem. And solved the issue of the light blazing through our windows.So while these are not perfect, they get a 5 from me because we're happy to have a dark bedroom again.

These are the best blackout blinds I’ve ever purchased. The quality of material is very thick and durable definitely keeps out the bright light the whole room becomes black.

I returned these because the material was too thick for my bathroom window - because it did not suite my shower curtain and decor. I have purchased 2 longer pairs of drapes for other windows and I love them. Truly room darkening, the hand so nicely, no wrinkles.

These curtains are awesome!! Quality and colour of the material was beyond my expectations.

Good quality good price

I got the greyish white, because my condo only allow me to use white curtains. Material is soft and not too heavy. But it does not block out sunlight that well. It's not triple layer as described. But for the value, it's ok.

These do not totally block out the sun, but they do their job. Great quality. I am happy with them.
