Nicely crafted, hours of fun for little ones
The media could not be loaded. This is a really nice game that I recommend for little ones! The paint holds very well, the sizes are perfect, and little extra, the nice storage bag.My granddaughters love it, they are very concentrated and it allows them to work on fine motor skills as well as concentration.Very colorful wooden blocks are so well made and pleasant to the touch, good holding in hand. They come in different shapes, very smooth pieces the cutouts allows to build according to the child's imagination.

Building blocks
Super cute baby blocks. Came with a nice amount. Definitely not for young toddlers who put things in their mouth. There are small pieces! My toddler loves stacking the blocks and sorting them by color. They have these little dinos too that she thinks is the cutest. Makes for a nice little gift too!

Great for eye hand coordination
I've been trying to accumulate a few toys to keep at my house for when the grandchildren visit. My grandchildren are very young (under 3) so I didn't anticipate that this toy would be appropriate for them just yet. First of all, there are some very small pieces in this set, so definitely not appropriate for any child that likes to put stuff in their mouth. Even 3 years old is pushing it. For some reason, looking at the box picture, I made an assumption that their must be magnets inside the rocks to be able to build the blocks up so high, but I was wrong. The "rocks" have flat sides that allow them to be stacked on top of each other. I tried this myself and it is not easy to stack that high. Not saying it can't be done, but it does require a steady hand. I think this would be a great challenge for older children who wouldn't become easily frustrated. The set comes with a drawstring bag for storage and could easily last for generations.

Much smaller than they appear in the listing
I have to say these are very small. I picked them up for my two year old grandson since the listing says "Toddler Sorting Game Toys for 2 3 4 5"But some of these blocks are so small I don't let him use them for fear of choking. The sizes are illustrated in the listing. My concern is that the set also comes with several VERY SMALL plastic animals, again, choking hazard.I recommend removing those if gifting this set to a younger toddler. The blocks are made well, and the paint is done well. But I cannot recommend these as they are listed because of some of the pieces.

A GOOD LEARNING TOY (4-1/2* out of 5*)
An attractive set of balancing blocks that will help a young child learn about balance and matching. The only reservation I had was the inclusion of the small animal figurines in the packages --they'd be sty to mislay and our dog could do serious damage to her stomach if she went at one. So I simply took them out of the box and gave m grandson the bag with everything else in it.

A nice feel, but...
As the box says, good for 3+ y/o. With a child younger than that they will put some of the smaller "stones" in their mouth (within 1 minute of opening the box). Given the shape of the smaller diamond-shaped pieces, they definitely could be a chocking hazard for young toddlers or babies. Perhaps if you have a table with raised edges (we have a train table) the stones can be kept out of reach of those not yet walking/standing and therefore can be left without supervision. They are a lighter weight wood, painted over with a hard paint that can be cleaned with a wet cloth. They seem to be very durable as well. The kids enjoyed it for 5 mins or so, but it will definitely be something they return to on occasion. Also, be sure to set a strict "no throwing" rule unless you are a window installer. I would have given it 5 stars, except for the required supervision.
