Good for about 20 months
I liked the brass fittings, shut off valve and all were high quality. The hose inside the protective shell started to leak after 20 months. I just used on concrete deck and thus not dragged thru yard or other areas. No holes on outside of covering I could see. Leaked so bad, just a trickle came out on end. I really liked the expansion and contraction feature so not to take up a lot of space like a traditional hose. I did keep it outside all year long here in Dallas but just got morning sun. Still looked great, like new when it leaked. I always let it drain when done so never stored under pressure. I have pure rubber hoses still going strong after 20 years I leave outside all year. But just the bulk and storing is a pain when you just need a quick rinse or cleaning the patio.

After A Year The Hose Detached From the Fitting
Before it broke, it was everything the ad copy said it was. Lightweight, easy to coil and stored easily this hose was perfect . . . until it wasn't. One afternoon I picked it up and turned on the water and the end fitting detached itself. Now, it's useless and I had stored and used it carefully. I won't buy this brand again.
