Great quality, and does what it says.
This cover works perfectly with my queen sized duvet. Do be careful of what size you're ordering, look at the actual dimensions! This cover is a very tight weave cotton, it is deceptive, as it doesn't look that heavy when you open it, but it definitely needs a full sized washer, even for the smaller sizes. For reference, I can wash my very heavy linen duvet cover in my apartment sized washer with no problems, but I struggled with this one and had to wash it twice, and in the future will be using a different washer for it. The texture is crisp, and not very soft, but that may change after multiple washes. Since this is meant to be inside another cover, it isn't an issue, and lends some structure to lightweight covers.I have a severe dust allergy, feather products collect a lot of dust that isn't easily remedied, but this cover stops any existing dust from getting to me, and prevents additional dust from accumulating inside the duvet. I haven't had any allergy or asthma related issues since I put this on the bed.The inner and outer ties are perfect, and I do not find that my duvet slides around inside this at all, and since the cover isn't silky, it holds onto the outer cover as well. This cover would even work well as a single solution, without an outer cover, but since I have pets, I'll be sticking to using it inside a decorative cover that washes the easier. After using this product for a few weeks, I plan to purchase these for my family for Xmas.

It works! And completely comfortable.
I love down but have become allergic to it, aargh. This cover is just what I wanted, CalKing size is perfect fit for duvet and it come with ties inside for duvet and outside for duvet cover. It’s nice and light weight, more comfortable than I imagined. Not plasticky at all. And I’m able to use my down duvet with no reaction to the down. So glad I found it, reasonable price.

Kinda heavy, but good quality
It does add weight to my already heavy-ish down comforter. I guess I have a weighted blanket now (all the rage), ha ha. It makes a slight crinkling sound, but not annoying. Good quality zipper, fabric is tightly woven so hopefully no mites are getting through. I've noticed my nose isn't quite as stuffy in the mornings so I think it's helping.

I love it so much I'm buying a second one
This cotton cover is of a substantial weight, and I have never had a feather from my duvet come through it. The material is not silky or overly soft, but instead feels like high quality cotton bed linens that have become increasingly hard to find these days. I love it so much that I've decided to buy a second cover to make washing and maintaining it and my duvet easier for me (I'm disabled). My duvet is quite heavy, so I do have issues with it bunching and leaving lots of empty cover at times. I wish the zipper was a shorter length, so it wouldn't be so noticeable when using the cover.I'm now going to state the obvious. For the cover the work properly and prevent dust, you have to do regular upkeep on your feather duvet and the cover. You need to put your feather duvet into the dry on air only and fluff out any dust present. In addition to laundering your cover; between washes you need to remove your duvet from the cover, take your cover outside, turn it inside out to remove any accumulation of feathers, and place the cover in the dryer (still inside out) on air only to remove any dust or debris. I would do this before washing the cover as well. Don't put your feather duvet and cover into the dryer at the same time.

Effective, but HOT
Why did you pick this product vs others?:while certainly effective as a hypoallergenic cover, this is so HOT to sleep with. I live in Southern California and used a chilli-pad on full blast, and I finally gave up and decided I’d rather have allergies than roast in this overheated hypoallergenic bed any longer. I’m sure if I lived in a cold place it wouldn’t be a problem.

Crisp, Cool, No Free Lunch for Dustmites
Research, research, research, purchase. And it was totally worth the time on the research. This duvet cover is just perfect in ways I didn't even expect.First, it's percale. Yes, the stiffer wrinkly cotton kind, not the slippery soft kind of cotton. Percale is cooler, less allergenic, and has that delightfully luxurious hotel feel of heavy fanciness rather than the slippery feel of sleeping with eels. To each their own though because I know some people dislike percale. Now to the bonuses: the zipper is super easy to use and is only at the bottom edge. I hate tags and zippers on the side of my bedding. I don't need to think there's a monster in my bed in the middle of the night. It's heavy enough to use as a summer blanket without a comforter inside. But come chilly days the dust mites will have no chance at chomping on my skin cells from my comforter. It'll be safely tucked in this allergy-proof barrier. And the super bonus? The little loops on the outside corners. I confess I did a bunch of google searching and Ai questioning to determine what they are there for.Ai was especially creative trying to come up with reasons, which led me to my use: to hang from two diagonal corners on a hook on my door near my air purifier. Airs it out during the day (thank you, Japan, for the lifestyle tip!) and comes down for bedtime. If you're curious, the real reason for the extra loops is so that people can put this allergen-free duvet cover *inside* a decorative duvet cover. But why would I give up the beautiful feel and sound of crisp luxury just to give dust mites a free lunch? But if that's your thing, well, the loops are waiting for ya!

Good for allergens but uncomfortable
Definitely high quality, durable material. However it’s heavy and stiff. The noise of it is minor but the stiffness makes it not worth the price. Takes away from the benefits of having a comforter in the first place. No amount of washing or softeners help.
