The red color is bright, controls work well. It does get hot on top, but it's made from metal so that's to be expected. The toast lifter works so that the toasted item comes out far enough that you can just pick it up (carefully, it's hot!!) rather than unplugging the toaster and using a knife or fork. It comes with a little grooved tray that neatly fits over the two slots so that you can leave it out on your counter and nothing can enter the toaster - so no unexpected toasted bugs, dust or plant life from your wildly flinging cooking.

I had my doubts about this toaster, but it is a really nice toaster. Works great, is quick and looks good.It toast a little more on one side than the other, but I have found this to be true of every toaster I haveever had. It isn't a problem.

The quality of this toaster is higher than we expected, with good choices made in materials and design. As with all toasters, if you toast just one slice of bread at a time the inside will be browner than the outside, but that can be corrected by either toasting two slices at a time or flipping that one slice around half way through the toasting process. Looks great in our kitchen and works great every time.

It also has a bagel setting and works great. Have been using it a few months and definitely recommend.

This is a very cute toaster and works well. It looks adorable on your counter, and toasts just fine. My only issue with it is that it doesn’t have a cancel button. If my toast is starting to get too dark I have to pull the plug from the wall in order to get it to stop. I also love the cover that it came with I wish every toaster had that little top to go with it. I would buy this again or give it for a gift.
