Governing His Bride (Beyond the Institute: The Future of Correction) Paperback – July 21, 2016

I just finished Governing His Bride and have decided that of all the Emily Tilton books I've read (admittedly way more than several but by no means nearly all) this is my favorite so far. As backward and off the chart as the male dominance is portrayed in this book series, the husband, William, was not despicable. Am I nuts?

This sounded in the book description a little different than what the book actually turned out to be. I will have to go back and reread it but it sounded like she would runaway and try to become wild thinking of having her Governor removed. Maybe my imagination.

Needs more for a BDSM book.

Loved it. If you're into tender dominant, HEA type stuff, this story's for you.

Emily Tilton varies in the quality of her story-telling, though her concept of the woman becoming a slave to her owner or lover was interesting.

This story revolves around a futuristic society of former earthlings now settled on the planet Prosperity. These folks have decided to structure their society in a new age, slightly modified, Victorian styled format with the women being controlled and “governed” by the men. The modification is the baseline of this extremely well written, almost believable, story from Ms. Tilton and it is called the “Governor”. This device is attached to women in a strategic location and it controls their internal level of erotic feelings. The fluctuations of these feelings are, of course, controlled by the woman’s husband. There are a few other plot lines and twists, but the control of the Bride’s sexual urges and her introduction to erotic sex is the real story. Priscilla’s journey from innocent naïve virgin through her initiation to discipline and erotic spankings and every aspect of sexual pleasure is one you will be sure to enjoy. If you have ever read anything by Emily Tilton you know how very good she is at writing the most erotic, exciting stories and this one actually surpasses all that came before. You will not be disappointed in/with any aspect of this new 5-Star release.I received this book as an advance review copy from Stormy Night Publications.

Interesting premise, standalone.

Never read such a weird creepy book by Tilton before- her other books were always good. This futuristic stuff was cringey!
