TYR Technoflex 4.0 Performance Goggle

I have had trouble finding goggles that fit comfortably over my tall nose. These are great - all of the material is soft with a tall nose piece.Durability is so-so, as I've had one pair break at the nose-piece after a year or two.

they work good I went threw lot of google before found some that don t leak or hurt after bout 20 laps... I recent tried the try nests love them..

I'm of the opinion that an effective anti-fog coating doesn't exist on any swim goggle, but I never expected the anti-fog coating to crinkle-up and wash off the first time water touched the inside of the lens. That's what happened within the first five minutes of use with my new pair of these goggles.. I was stoical about it and just let pool water swish off the entire coating before resorting to spit as usual. However this shouldn't have happened with a $24.00 goggle right out of the box, so I mention it to those who might be thinking about buying this model in the future. The fit and face seal were good and the goggle otherwise worked okay.

Swim goggles are very much a fit issue for your size and shape of face. The TYR Technoflex 4.0 fits me very well and does not leak.Unlike all other goggles I have purchased, the TYR does not require high strap tensions to seal. The goggles last about 6 months, before the silicone seal deteriorates and does not keep water out. They are used in a pool at least 5 times per week for an hour. I have found that storing them dry, out of sunlight in their case extends the wear life. Removal of mineral buildup from the outside of the silicone sealing material is the most significant issue for a good seal. This will depend on the hardness of your pool water. Rinsing the goggles with distilled water will also help.

No leaks, but Still dealt with lense-fog issues

I like them when they work (don't leak), but I can't trust them. The Speedo Vanquisher 2.0 goggles are better because they cup your eyes more, offering better suction. Maybe TYR has a model more like that? Not sure.

These are the BEST goggles...I had a pair that I used for a couple of years and was thrilled I found them again on Amazon. I bought two pair in case I need a spare. Highly recommended for comfort, fit and keeping the water out of my eyes when I swim. I swim 2 to 4 times a week, 1 to 2 miles a week! So they get a lot of use!

I was really looking forward to these goggles, but after using them I've found some annoying faults. First of all they fog up like no one's business. I am used to a bit of fog, or even leaving some water in the goggles to reduce fog, but nothing helped. Second most annoying thing is that they do not stay on if you dive or jump into water. Every time I have dived or jumped into water these have moved either down or up enough to completely let water in, and require adjusting afterwards. If I used these for competition I would have to buy another pair. Lastly they dirty up easily. I used sunscreen one time and I could not get it off my goggles in the water. It just smeared it and continued to stay dirty even after using water. I had to dry them and use a cloth to clean them.Update *****I've tried to use them many times, but each time I keep going back to my old pair that I am trying to replace. These goggles do not stay on, the plastic feels akward on my skin, and they fog up like no one's business. :( I am now looking for a new pair of goggles again.

Good product

The goggle is good, but the strap holding clips could have been better. I got it for 380.
