This instant decaf coffee has good, rich flavor without bitterness. It’s the only instant decaf I have found that I like. I think it’s worth the money. I bought the glass jar first, then saved it to use with the larger amount that comes in a bag. Keep it refrigerated for best freshness.

Without a doubt the best and I've bought them all, both regular and decaf. The only ones that come close are Clipper and Juan Valdez but neither are as good as Mount Hagen. Best flavor, richest aroma, and easiest on the stomach. It's the only freeze dried coffee I will buy from now on.

Beyond convenient when compared to AeroPress or pour overs. Tastes great and Mount Hagen uses Swiss Water Process for decaf which is ideal. Smooth. Very low caffeine in the decaf version at 0.006g of caffeine per 2g (1 tsp) serving. Would buy again. On caveat is that this bulk bag tasted a bit burnt compared to local product purchased in sealed glass containers. Might have been the batch, or warehouse conditions (temp fluctuations?) from a particular seller, or packaging substrate… reason unknown. Won’t buy in this bulk format again but will continue to source this coffee because it tastes great!

We were never big instant coffee drinkers, but it had this at a friend's house and liked it enough to buy some ourselves. Flavorful, smooth, and not bitter; great for an evening cuppa when you don't want to make a full pot of coffee.

This is by far the best tasting instant coffee I’ve tried. It’s so easy to mix up an afternoon iced coffee and the taste is delicious. I love that it’s organic as that is becoming very difficult to find I’ve noticed.

I am super picky about my coffee. I roast my own beans for my daily drinking. I was skeptical when I heard about these but my son said they were great. I was so impressed with them I ordered two bags. Winter evenings I like a hot beverage but don't do caffeine. This is the best solution I've found. Tastes like real coffee. It isn't cheap but it is worth it.

I did research on the decaffeination process used by makers of instant coffee brands sold in supermarkets. Making instant coffee is dodgy, decaffeinated even worse. This brand was highly recommended, but pricey. I gave it a try. The instructions said to use 1-2 teaspoons per cup. I tried 1 1/2 teaspoons but found it a little strong. That's just my preference. I now put 1 1/4 tsp. In a cup first, then add 8 oz of hot water. I add half and half to taste. It makes a great cup of coffee, much better than any instant sold at the supermarket. I served some to a couple of friends who were surprised to learn it wasn't brewed coffee. For taste alone I would give it 5 out of 5 stars. I deducted one star for the packaging. It's in a resealable bag that was impossible for me to reseal. At this price I didn't want it to go stale or have the bag tip over and lose some. I sealed it as best I could, clipped it shut and placed it in a Ziploc quart storage bag. I suggest doing that or getting an airtight container for it, something cute for a coffee that deserves to be treasured, on display on the countertop!

Love this coffee. It's the only one I have found that tastes good. The flavor is great even black. It's a staple in our home.

My family only likes to drink instant decaf coffee that's organic, and this seems to be one of the only ones I can get in Canada. Thankfully it tastes great, it's a decent sized bag of coffee for the price, plus it's organic & fair trade. Also as a side note, I find it cheaper to buy this bag rather than the 100g jars; at the normal price the bag works out to $15 per 100g, while the jar is $21.99 per 100g.
