This particular outlet I received from seller Chuangchengda that is controlled by the software Alexa Socket III is NOT capable of charging Apple iPhone products. This particular sellers item description is inaccurate. Other similar looking outlets could possibly be compatible if they use different firmware however purchasing this item was a complete waste of time for me. Seller also included a manual for a completely different outlet, and simply hand corrected the incorrect statements.Now to discuss the outlet and it’s features. Build quality seems decent. Keep in mind that the 120v three prong outlet is only 10 amp capable so higher power appliances could burn the outlet out or even cause a fire as there does not appear to be any on board protection circuitry. Most home outlets are capable of 15 amps with home wiring circuit breakers set for that current flow.Only the 120v outlet power can be controlled by the app or through Alexa as the 2.1 amp USB portion s always on. It is capable of powering an Echo Dot But again steer clear of you want to charge an Apple product without the use of a dongle. Item returned immediately... :grumble grumble:

I set it up in my kitchen. It’s amazing. I could control my rice cooker and warmer anywhere.Bring a lot of convenience to my life.

This is a vert thoughtful product with nice design. When my friends came to my home, they notice this and they all have interest to buy one. Great!

Easy to install, easy to set up. My only criticism is that there are only 2 wire terminals per pole, and a lot of older houses have 3 wires at junctions.
