I can now put coffee from my container into the microwave and heat it up to a great temperature without worrying about melting my mug. It also holds a lot. After I have coffee I fill it with ice and water and it stays cold for a long time.

Have now bought two of these for my stepfather. He's a huge Bulldogs fan and uses this for his coffee. My only complaint is that the paint has worn off slightly where his hand rubs against the mug. Keeps water cold all day as well, which is why we needed a second one.

Great size and holds large straws.

While these are good cups, I gave it only three stars because the finish is starting to come off after washing in the dishwasher on the top rack several times .
