CRAZY SHARK Hook Remover Aluminum Fish Hook Remover Extractor 13.6in

Good tool for getting fish off hooks when you don't want your hands near the fish's mouth
This hook remover is soooo much easier to use than the older style that's just a straight metal rod with a handle at one end and a u-curve in the other end. With this dehooker, I can get a good grip on the hook and then turn it in whatever direction it needs to be for the point of the hook to come of the fish's mouth. I bought a different dehooker, same style as this one but a different brand -- the handle broke before I ever even got to use it. This one, I've already used it to release some large catfish and baby sharks and it worked great!

Expensive Lures Safely and Easily Removed From Big Baracudas
Looking in to a mouth full of razor sharp teeth is no place to try to use a pair of pliers to retrieve your $$$$ lure. We would have cut the line and lose the lure if it were not for CrazyShark. Successfully removed the hook every time with the fish staying in the water for a clean catch and release. Don't fish the ocean without it.

I'd buy this thing 10 times over
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Works amazing. Able to get the hook out if it's anywhere!! Works flawlessly with gutted fish too. Handle is designed good allowing you to grab it from really any angle so you don't gotta fuss with it while you have a fish. Great for beginners to fishing who are scared of getting hooked or don't like touching the fish. So so so glad I bought this. Sturdy, and efficient.

Make it easy to remove hooks
Went out fishing, caught a nice bass, the hook was swallows. First time using this and I had the hook out in 20 seconds. No more fumbling with needle nose pliers. Will be getting another one of these for my wife.

A good tool easier than a pair of pliers.
This hook remover works very well and feels heavy duty. The only reason why I am giving it 4 stars and not 5, is that 3 out of the 6 fish I have used it on I've cut the hooks in half just by gripping them. I'm sure that a heavier hook wouldn't have the same problem but for my freshwater hooks it has happened more than I think it should.

Fisherman’s Must Have
Works great. Like another reviewer mentioned, slight learning curve, but once you got it, you’ll wonder why you didn’t have this before. Great for getting out gut swallowed hooks from fish you plan on keeping.

MUST-HAVE Saltwater fishing tool
Corrosion resistant hook remover is a necessity for salt water fishing in the Florida Keys. Many fish here have teeth so the farther your hand is away from the mouth the better. The longer reach of this tool (14" overall) provides an adequate length for most but not all( i.e. shark, barracuda, wahoo) game fish. Needs to be rinsed in fresh water after use.

Well made, great value for the price
Although I just received 3 of these and used them once fishing, they are very well made and identical to the mustad brand I've had for over a year. The price is great so I won't need to worry if the kids drop them overboard. The length is longer than my others which I really like for those toothy critters we come across often. Nice job. And the lanyard is excellent.

Skin Saver
Bought this for my Dad for unhooking dogfish. He reports it worked well on it's first use and saved his hands from the sharp dogfish teeth. ... bit the aluminum shaft rather than his fingers. So far so good. I hope it is sturdy enough for multiple years of use!

Learning curve
I like it but I’m still having a hard time figuring out how to get it to work properly. Usually end up going back to my pliers
