Needed Light!
Understand that I have only had this fixture installed for the past 2 weeks. As our soccer club runs from March through November, and since I have employees on different shifts, I'd thought I'd install a light as an aide not only for overnight security, but for ease of access to our tool and equipment trailers. From what I am told by the employees, this light works very well. I'm personally not being there at 5 AM or 10 PM to find out. It was fairly easy to install although in my situation none of the parts supplied had any bearing on the install. I wanted it up as high as I can get it with conduit. But I knew this from the get go, so that didn't matter. The parts, as I saw them are perfect for a wood install on a barn or big shed, but not in my application. I do not have it plugged into a dedicated circuit. It is on the same line as my Porter Cable air compressor and an auxiliary 110V outlet for cart battery chargers, etc... with a sturdy male electric plug, plugged into that outlet. I have had a few people from the club ask me, "Where did you get that light.". I told them Amazon. Now they would like one over the fenced Electric Vault, so they can see the lock codes to turn on the field lights for games as apparently, nobody owns a flashlight. I may do that in the Spring. The group I work with are such forward thinkers. (sarc)I finally got over there after dark and took a picture. The light is still working well and illuminates the entire working area for the guys who come in before dawn or after dusk in the Spring or Fall. I noticed that the light comes on at twilight, just as it's starting to get dark. Very pleased and will buy another but the stronger one for the electric vault because I want it to also illuminate the Field House area of concessions and the patio.

Horrible Warranty
Bought first light and loved it so bought second light. First light eye sensor went bad and light stayed on 24/7. Did the warranty replacement online to get a new sensor since they are replaceable. Paid for shipping. They sent a used light that didn’t have a replaceable eye sensor, literally had bird crap on the light. Installed the replacement light only to find that it didn’t work and would only come on for about 3 minutes every hour or two. They emailed me to send my original light back to them at my cost for shipping and they would look at it and fix/replace it and then charge me shipping to send it back. I’ve now been without a working light for over a month and if I do as they ask I would spend more money on shipping then just buying a new light somewhere else and being a lot quicker. Let alone I will have had to climb a ladder 3 times to keep installing the light. Unacceptable!!!!

Adequate Lighting Depending on Your Needs
Replaced my 18' mounted barn light for the 4th time in 22 years. All prior lights were high pressure sodium (HPS) ranging from 150 watt (too bright) to 70 watt (perfect for my needs). And tired of replacing sensors and/or bulbs. This 55 watt LED light is rated about the same light output as my 70 watt HPS.Pros - Lightweight (no heavy transformer), construction looks decent, white vs. yellow light, sealed lens (no bug entry), fit my existing pole (tucked all connections into the pole and pole fits tight to the unit). I like the smaller day/night sensor which protrudes from the front (not on top). Seems to work great and nearly identical facing east even though nonadjustable to north like old style mechanical top mount sensors, instant on - no warm up and obviously no buzz (no transformer).Cons - Light shines down more than out. Picture doesn't due justice as it was within minutes of turning on and not late at night. The LEDs are mounted on a flat plane with no real reflector where bulb style lights have 360 degree illumination.Perfect for the cost and my application (getting in and out of my barn). If you need more of a parking lot or yard light you will want a wider light pattern and a brighter (more watts) with a better designed reflector. Added photo at night to show light pattern.

Love this US made LED pole light, Works great, Well made. Excellent light @ the proper height.
So far I love this light people. The light it produces in fantastic IMHO and I have included some pictures to try and show others how it performs at my place. I have included pictures showing how much light it produces, I also included some pics of my computer monitor showing how the light looks through my security systems cameras at nighttime. I had a local muffler shop bend me a piece of 1 /3/4'' X 5 'foot long/high exhaust piping to use as my mounting method/pole, it also helped to disperse the light on my driveway area as it placed the light higher above my driveway. I painted the pole to keep it from rusting and ran my wiring inside of it. The dusk to dawn sensor faces due north and thus far it has worked almost flawlessly. One night it did start flashing on and off all night but it had just snowed wet heavy snow that night and the next night it was fine again. The actual light it produces is awesome (55 watt) at best and I couldn't be happier with it at this point. I have replaced every light that is outside my home/shop with LED versions and my electric bill will be happier as will my wallet.I looked at every model Amazon had to offer as well as Ebay but from the reviews and the pricing on Amazon this light was it for me as it is made in the US for the most part something I wanted if possible. If I ever need any warranty I hope Amazon will be there for me as they had in the past and that's why I buy from them as much as I do. Without this light on my shop it is pitch black at night time here, trust me. Northern Minnesota. The cold has not bothered it all..
