This is an excellent series of videos for anyone who wants to learn to skate. I'm a life long skater, but when my nephew wanted me to teach him, I had a hard time explaining things that would resonate with someone much younger. Aaron Kyro does an excellent job of explaining how to do these tricks. I also love the gradual progression of the tricks being taught. I feel like if you follow this progression of tricks that you will have an excellent grasp on some of the fundamentals of skating. I wish these DVDs were around when I started skating!

Cool DVD but it didn't work when i put it into my DVD player. It stated that it was a corrupted file so idk if that was just mine or everyone else had that problem

It's true. I don't think I would have progressed as fast as I did if I didn't get Skateboarding Made Simple (SMS). Aaron really helps you understand the key aspects of the trick you are trying. The foot positioning, weight positioning, movement and timing are very important factors to think about in skateboarding and are shown clearly in SMS. I like the way it is is filmed too. Different angles, viewpoints, and slow motion really help to show you how the trick goes down. Have fun!

i learn't how to ollie, shove it, pop shove it and power slide in a week. i recommend you buy it, if you really want to learn and fast.
