Because this book popped up as an Amazon recommendation, I was surprised to see that it is actually self-published and pretty amateurish. Overall both the text and illustrations are very simplistic. That said, my 8 year old son liked it, so I guess it's OK!

Great read for a 8 year old. My grandson was excited to receive this as his birthday present. Very encouraging and keeps kids interested in reading the actual book.
