Great book for young kiddos
I love reading my children books that rhyme, have a fun story, and pages that aren't too long to keep their attention. This book checks off everything I look for in story books. I like that it has little animals on the pages not mentioned in the story just for some extra things to point out; ants, snails, hedgehogs, crabs, bats... Would recommend for any young children.

10 little baby dinos go on an adventure...
I was concerned at 1st, because as I read I thought the book was a little dark. 1 little dinosaur would 'disappear' due to an unfortunate event, like 1 was stomped by a diplodosaur or 1 washed up by a geyser. But as we read to the end, you find out none of the baby dinosaurs were hurt, just lost and found again at the end by "Mummy" dinosaur. What a relief! :)My 21 month old daughter loves this book and we're getting more to gift to others.A few things to point out - it refers to the mother dinosaur as "Mummy" and "Mum". Also, there is 1 page that references poop. Neither of these bother our family, but wanted to let you know just in case.

We love this book
Cutest book ever. Perfect for the child transitioning from very short board books to stories. Grows with the child as it’s a learn to count book in disguise. Originally received as a gift from a British friend, I have bought this for countless birthday gifts

Terrific counting book for toddlers through kindergarten
Read this one with grandchildren as well as listened to the audio on video.Brightly colored, fairly generic baby dinos frolic on each page with each disappearing one at a time thanks to a more realistic and named dinosaur such as a “Steggy” using his tale or a Pterasaur scooping one up. The text has nice rhythm and rhyme that is solid most of the time, but “cavern” and “seven” definitely have to be manipulated to make it work, even by the narrator with his pleasant English accent. And for him, the words “gone” and “one” DO rhyme but for more American-sounding English-speakers, not as much! By the end, with only one little dinosaur left, it could seem like all the others have been lunch for other, bigger dinosaurs (even tho’ stegosauruses are herbivores), but momma dinosaur reappears with all her babies lines up on her back spikes for a happy reunion.Excellent counting book for toddlers and up, especially dinosaur loving kiddos. Plenty of additional conversation would be easy with all the details included in the artwork. Certain to be a favorite and perfect for home, school and public libraries.
