A winner- you get it all- hifi, power, a mic, and brilliant firmware updating method
I have a lot of hifi products and when I received the iPhone X, my 3.5mm options went away on my iPhone. I spent a good deal of time searching for a better quality lightning 3.5mm adapter that included power and was more focused on quality sound. When I finally found this product I was excited. It included a mic and an ingenious future—proofing firmware upgrade method via an app in the App Store. This feature was a real investment by the manufacturer in customer support as they can update the product as required. This alone raised my hopes for the product. Upon receipt I have been very impressed with the sound— lots of power, driving my noble audio IEM headphones beautifully with lots of power. The software based boost switch works great, you get three levels— none, middle, and high. The sound signature is excellent— it is keeping the highs and delivers strong bass. It is a realistic sounding amp and dac and I’d describe it as leaning towards analytical and detailed as opposed to boomy— for me, perfect. The microphone sounds great, so now your headphones without a mic have one— a big deal— or if your headphones have a mic, now it uses the db magix mic which you will find is outstanding. The controls on the adapter are great to have— volume, play/pause/answer call (one click), fast forward (double click), and previous track (triple click.) Build quality and packaging are excellent. Note the switch on the decide nearest to lightning cable is there to push cable out so you can grab it more easily, I had to study it to figure that out. Very happy with this product, it has exceeded expectations.

Great as long as they work.
Great as long as they last.I bought 4, 2 have had the connector pins get pitted and stop making connection.Just bought unit number 5. It came from Innomart unboxed and without the peel off label and for some reason a 3.5 cable in a plastic bag.No box or instruction manual. I think it's a return.Contacted dB Magix support. They requested photos. Sent photos for 2 units and the error message. No response.Also their Facebook page has gone unattended for 1 year and the Fremont CA phone number is out of service. Fishy.

The best lightning adapter EVER
Love this! The sound finally blasts through the speakers/headphones as intendend by the musician. Much more convenient than a belkin lightning splitter to charge while listening. Goodbye all other lighting adapters 👋

Overall, it’s ok
It’s big. I got the metal one because it looks nicer.The spund quality is just normal. You shouldn’t expect a highend headphone amp quality. Also, like any other headphone amo without a voltage booster for their supply, you won’t be able to get the maximum power from your headphone. And those high power headphone amps are way bigger than this.So it’s actually not bad considering those.My only problem is that the connection is kinda flimsy especially on the headphone side. When I use it while walking, I get 2-5 disconnects during the walk.

Excellent product for my iPhone!
With exquisite packaging, it is equipped with a compact adapter but not any other accessories, which makes it light and comfortable. It is quite convenient for me to enjoy music while charging since it has not only a 3.5mm Jack plug but also a charging socket. When I plug in my phone, it automatically prompts me to download an App called SoundWise, whose memory footprint is remarkably small so that it can be downloaded quickly.This amplifier has three buttons and a hidden data cable. The function of button is same as iPhone’s original earphone. It has the characteristics of answering phone, launching siri, switching music, and also fast forward and rewind. Besides, it has a microphone so that earphone without microphone can have the feature of answering calls, which seems great for me.But I have to emphasize that the most important feature should be its acoustics. It is so amazing that the built-in amplifier delivers a clean and uninterrupted sound. I could even say that this kind of amplifier is really professional so that it can be applied to more professional headphones.It is a surprise for me to possess this amplifier. As I think, it is compact and unique. Moreover, the most important point is that I can enjoy music happily with such an amplifier.
