My niece and I have been doing this together everyday and I'm truly enjoying it. I plan to pass it on to someone else when I'm done and suggest it to some youth ministries. I wish I had this as a new believer!

If you want to become brand-new in your relationship in Christ, get this....Whether you are a new Christian or older Christian this is a real world way to grow deeper. Simple easy-to-read, each day takes about 5 to 10 minutes but it makes you think and it makes you want to study scripture. Whether it's first thing in the morning or right before bed it's a wonderful way to put your mind on Jesus and become the brand-new person you always wanted to be.

This could be very helpful for a new believer, especially one who didn't grow up in a church. It wasn't too useful for me; I'll read or at least skim, and pass it on to someone who needs it more than I do. Kudos to the author, though, for writing a book that addresses the many questions a new believer might ask, all in one slim volume, or maybe a springboard for discussions that might commonly come up.

What does one of the brightest rising-star writers have to say about daily Christianity? It's all here in this great, easy-to-read, life-changing book, aimed at the new believer (and equally at old believers with rust in their game). This devotional carefully, wisely, humorously, thoroughly walks us through essentials to establishing and strengthening our daily relationships with the God of the Universe. It's about time Shilo Taylor finally published her first book ... I'm eagerly anticipating her next offerings!

I'm a pastor and I picked up this book to disciple and it has been a great tool for spiritual growth and conversation for both myself and those who I'm discipling. I am normally not a fan of devotional type questions but the author has done a marvelous job at coming up with great questions that take you back to the scriptures and allow you to ponder for yourselves its meaning. Bible verses picked for each day and for further reading couldn't have been better and used in context. Great book and I cannot recommend this enough for new believers, for a seasoned one or for discipling.

As a pastor of 16 years, I have found Brand New to be the most simple yet comprehensive resource for walking new believers through the foundations of our faith. Whether you have been a Christian for a long time or are not one at all, Brand new is sure to help you grasp the story of the Bible, the Character of God and how we connect with him and each other. You don't need a college degree to go and make disciples all you need is Brand New.

This book has been a great read. Each day is simple, but consistent and very informative. Great for a brand new Christian, or even an old one just looking for a refresher!
