Was skeptical at first because it’s not the motor pictured.I called and they assured me it was an upgraded motor so I installed it and all is normal at this time.

An easy fix simple DIY replacement
The fan motor on my AC unit failed and this is the replacement part. It too less than an hour to swap out the motors and was not particularly complicated. There were many screws holding the lid of the AC unit on but once removed the replacement was a breeze. The motor is held in with 4 bolts (provided). The wires have spade connectors so simply unplug the old and plug in the new matching the wire colors.The fan is held on with one screw so easy to put on the new motor.All i needed was a socket for the hex head screws and a wrench for the fan.Saved a ton of money and it is much quieter!

RECEIVED BROKEN
We ordered this from the Amazon warehouse and it came NON-WORKING. We then had to pay for shipping to return the defective item they sent. We didn’t return it because it didn’t work for us, we returned it because they sent us a broken item. SUPER ridiculous we had to pay for shipping to send it back. Anyways…. Don’t order this from the Amazon warehouse. You’ll likely get something broken that they just repacked.

Motor was not the GE Trane Condenser Fan Motor that was advertised. Instead it was a replacement part. I would not have spent this much on a replacement part, but needed to replace the motor sooner rather than later. Drill holes matched up with original, and part works fine.

Always worth paying a little more the the factory replacement from the OEM. No doubt it will last for years.

Got here faster than expected
Arrive quickly which was important considering that I live AZ valley of the sun (think triple digit numbers). You might also want to get a new capacitor at the same time... The only real problem I had was that the AC unit was in the sun and I couldn't touch it without gloves on! Otherwise went in fine and I am back to cooling my house with 2 AC units.

We had to drill new holes in the heat pump casing to attach the new motor as the bolts didn't line up. Otherwise no issues at all. Works very well!
