Different in a Good Way.
This is not Tuna. It does not Taste like Tuna and the Texture is not like Tuna. So if You are thinking "Mayo and Pickles", then You are mistaken. This Thai Version does not require any Mayo, it seems to have something already in the Can that is much like a Sweet Sauce, which Mayo really does not Mix well with. However, I found that Mixing some Pineapple, either Cut up Pineapple or even some Crushed Pineapple, makes for a Pretty Good Cold Wrap. This will make One Medium/Large Type Wrap or Two if Using the Taco Size Wraps, Fajitas Wraps. Don't go adding Pickles to this, the Taste would not Mix Well. Perhaps, some Sweet Pickles? Again, would not Recommend. However, adding some Cut Up Apples, Pineapples or even perhaps some Citrus Fruit, makes for a Nice Wrap. This is some kind of Barbaque Type Sauce, which is added to this, along with the Chilies.. Kind of Sweet, but not really, though it does effect the same Taste Glands of the Tongue, which an Apple, Pineapple, etc.. accents well.. As these are Acidic and Help with the Textured Taste of the Sauce.

Yummy
Texture very good. Taste is pleasant with a little kick. My personal preference is to add a squirt of fresh lime juice. Worth it!

Use like tuna, seriously!
People with their negative reviews due to it having water, um, so does tuna. Drain, and use like tuna. I made Tuno salad with celery, vegan mayo and pickles. It would also be a great appetizer loaded on celery sticks or wrapped in lettuce. The Thai sweet chili one is my personal favorite.Although Good Catch is better in some ways, this is better in others--and costs half as much. And, it's GMO free, which is a concern for many due to the fungicides used in American soy beans.

No taste
It tastes nothing like tuna. In fact the protein itself has no taste. It is a bit rubbery. The only taste is the "thai sweet chili" seasoning but even this seasoning is not very good. In general I like Loma Linda vegan products but this was very disappointing.

If you crave or want to mix your plant based taste buds you can't go wrong with this brand! Quick delivery and great price. My favorite flavor of tuna period.

New, improved version
I had not purchased these in a year or so, and these are the changes I noticed:- spicier taste (a little hot now)- more fishlike texture (but still not flaky like real tuna)- includes one chili pepper per can (which I considered decorative and didn't eat)I'm not a picky eater, and while real tuna is better, I find this to be sufficient for lunch at work (with crackers and/or fruit, etc). And no fish were harmed!

Best Vegan Tuna I’ve ever tasted
As a vegan, I look for more protein options, the Vegan Tuno made by Loma is the best tasting Tuna I have had. The vegan mayo I used by Best Foods “Vegan Dressing & Spread” just makes it that much better.Loma puts out 4 different flavors, I’ve had 3 flavors: 1. Tuno in Water, #2 Thai Sweet Chili are my go to flavors. I don’t care for the one in Lemon. There is a 4th is Sriracha which I can’t find. I absolutely highly recommend brand Loma Vegan Tuna (Tuno). It’s so addicting, only 90 calories. Walmart carries 6 pack with the 3 flavors, Tuno in water, the Thai Sweet Chili, and the Lemon, spicy Sriracha. I had to online to find the Thai Sweet Chili which not hot in taste. You can use the Sweet Chili in tacos, or burritos, it is soooo good, I can’t live without it.
