I use this to degas resin and silicone, all I needed was to add a rag over tithe oil port to avoid exhausting gasses from the pump. Also it took the first attempt of installing the oil cap to strip the threads. Don’t worry this won’t affect the vacuum. Great product for the money and I’ve gotten many hours of use so far.

Using it to degas silicone, and it seems to work fine. The vacuum gauge is sketchy, but the pump draws it down to 38+" quickly so no complaints.

Works pretty good for awhile but the pump burns through oil after a couple uses and emits some sort of toxic smoke. This is not regular vs other pumps we've used in the past so we are returning it.

This device is a game changer for bait making. Leave me with virtually no bubbles in my plastic
