Purchased this as a gift for a 7 year old boy who has a wide range of interests. He was delighted with the book which is loaded with interesting topics ranging from geology, geography, science and more. Very happy with this purchase.

I cannot stress enough how happy I am to have found the set of the Highlight books. My six year old son found this one extremely interesting. The written information is presented in an easy to understand format; the graphics are colorful and interesting. I would give it 10 stars if possible.

for my 6 year old grandson, this book finally replaced the WHY book, which Grandma almost had memorized. !! So, they are both happy - a win / win !!

We NEVER see the dark side of the moon from Earth.The new moon occurs when during the monthly lunar orbit the moon comes between the sun and the Earth.

Bought this for my 8 year old grandson, for some summer projects. He Loves it, as many projects he can do on his own with a little supervision.
