Solid portable heater and worth the price. Easy to assemble although no directions were included with our unit. We do not use for indoors. We use for an outside patio on it's stand so we can move/adjust. It delivers heat that can be felt up to 4-5 ft away if no wind/breeze.....if windy or breezy then only 1-2 ft. Only issue is when we turn the heater angle left/right or up/down while in use it shuts off. Not a big deal as you need to turn it back on. This could be a safety feature built in, but not sure as it does not say in the manual. It would be a greater source of heat if it had a small fan with a couple of speed options built in to push the heat out with some force which would help with heat delivery if there is a slight breeze/wind.

I purchased this heater with its own stand. I tried it a few times on the stand and then I decided to hang it from the ceiling of the patio using the provided L bracket. I think the stand gives you more flexibility (adjustable height) but hanging it makes it more discrete and out of reach for young kids. The remote works well and offers three heating levels. The heater operates at 120V (standard plug) without problems (your wire should not feed simultaneously other electricity thirsty equipment). Heating is immediate and sufficient at least for the Southern California winter.Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Only 4 stars because there are no instructions on how to put the pole base together. We did find a YouTube video which help a little with the assembly. It's to early to tell how the heater works as summer time is not ideal for using heater. The base is very heavy which will help to prevent tip overs.

Las Vegas winters are very cold so this heater was used often. Heater provides instant heat for our entire pato area. One day the heater would not turn on. I contacted customer service and they helped me trouble-shoot and it was decided the unit was dead. They sent out a new unit! Super happy with the product and the fact they stand behind their products!

EDIT: while i was still bummed about the heater, the company reached out to me personally and sent me a different model to try instead. the customer service was top notch!maybe it’s the Florida humidity, maybe it’s the product. but both of them (original + a return / replacement) both died within a month. wall mounted and under a patio roof, it worked great until it didn’t work at all.the photo shows it at the highest heat setting. those tubes should be very red. instead nothing happens.

We got this heater for our outdoor spa to help take the edge off on those cold and chilly nights. Let me tell you that this thing is amazing. We have left it on for hours of use and it has worked flawlessly. The remote control was an unexpected surprise as it allows me to heat up the area before we go out. The heat is radiant and not direct so you don’t get that burring sensation but feel an overall warmth. The effective heating range is about 10 ft from the unit which is perfect for out use and most people use. Current draw off the wall is about 12 amps so works on most 15a home breakers with some room to spare for other electrical needs. Given the approval from the product, I would order 3 or 4 more units to keep us warm and toasty at night.

Was hesitant to purchase these due to their BTU's output, however, I was pleasantly surprised. These things give off a good amount of heat. Quick assembly (although no instructions were included). Watch the product video on Amazon and they'll show you step by step. Stay warm!

Two of us could not figure out how it was supposed to go together. It seems self explanatory until you see that the knob screw and the kotter pin don't actually fit where you think they should go. I mean, it works ok the way we did it, but I know it's done wrong, and we have pieces left over. Instructions would be helpful.
