JIAKAI DIY Assemble Useless Box for Birthday and Party Gift Toys Game

I have to qualify the 5 stars. I am a techie and a tinkerer. This kit may be hard for you to assemble if you are not mechanically inclined and have no patience. The minimal instructions were fine for me. You may need more. For example, a side or bottom panel may need to be flipped in order to align properly. The motor and arm mechanism links into a screwed on notch mounted on the bottom plate. If the plate is on backwards you may have to disassemble and rotate it. In my case the mechanism did not align with the notch hole because of the way the switch was soldered. I had to bend the switch position on the motor board so that the motor board could align with the notch in the base. I had this running in about 30 minutes. If you are not up to a mechanical adventure I would recommend a pre-built one. If you are up for a challenge this is perfect. For this price don't expect perfection. It assembles properly and it works fine but some of the assembly success is up to you.

Surprisingly well made from black acrylic. The pieces are laser cut, if you had some experience with acrylic, you could glue it together. The assembly is a little tricky, but once built it's pretty solid, and durable. You may have to re-adjust the screws, and the instructions are a bit lacking, but overall, an excellent value. My son can't stop playing with it, and is pretty rough on things. We LOVE it!

I bought this for my daughter who thought it was going to come as one thing as advertised, however when it came it was in pieces with screws and a picture. My husband is very mechanical and it took them both more than 2 hours to put together. It came apart too many times. This is not worth any of the money. It also makes a lot of noise so she can’t use it all the time. This is not worth it in any way.

So, if you are pretty good with your hands and don't mind working with parts slightly larger than microbes, you'll be satisfied with this. That said, I've built a lot of things and found the instructions for this kit to be pretty useless. I figured out where everything was meant to go, but even then, the finished product had a very 'it's going to fall apart at any second' kind of feel, so I ended up reinforcing it with glue and Gorilla tape.You'll probably want to spend the extra couple of bucks and buy one that's pre-assembled.On the plus side, once assembled the box works as advertised and is a lot of kooky fun.

This is a great useless box kit. As others said, it does move very fast... but you can fix that easy by only using one of the batteries... then it goes the right speed to enjoy it. Just jumper the wire or hook up a single battery pack. Also, check out a youtube video is you are unsure how to assemble. Took me about 10-15 min.

Long lasting fun

Awful, absolutely awful. Upon assembling this box one finds that the tiny pre drilled holes do not line up with the motorized arm and therefore cannot be assembled. The box is non functional, what a dud!

I had to attempt assembly twice because the instructions were poorly written. Kids were over using the box pretty fast.
