Spot-the-Difference Masterpieces: 40 Eye-Bending Fine-Art Puzzles

I originally started purchasing picture puzzle books years ago for my kids, but I am the one who ended up enjoying them. This Spot-the-Difference Masterpieces is a 94-page collection of 40 fine art puzzles with 800 differences to find (20 differences per puzzle), and is recommended for ages 12 and up. There are paintings by Seurat, Monet, Klimt, and Vermeer, among others. (Note: There is a fair amount of nudity in some of these paintings.) The pages are thick and pictures are brightly colored. If you cannot find a difference, the answers are located at the back of the book. The puzzles are labeled A-Z across the top and 1-26 down the side to assist in answer location. I find the average difficulty of the puzzles in this book more difficult than those in the Life picture puzzle series, partly because there are so many changes to find in each puzzle. I would recommend this book to anyone – art lovers especially – who enjoys this type of puzzle.

So far it's easier than I hoped (most of the differences seem to be things like whole people/objects missing or obvious color changes.) However it's nice to have the opportunity to look closely at the art for a while so I think it's worth it.

I bought this book because I thought it would go along nicely with our art studies. Sadly, I didn't even think about nudity before giving to my children. It's not vulgar, but not appropriate for young children.

Beautiful books and fantastic idea, gets kids familiar with real masterpieces in a playful way. The art is gorgeous...only only complaint is one or two of the reprints (Bosch, for example) are too small to be able to see clearly. Still worth 5 stars though.

Love the do spot the difference type of activities and to do it with masterpieces is even more interesting. This is not as easy as most spot the differences books are. These can be quite challenging. I have really enjoyed working on these and still am. Would highly recommend this to anyone who likes to do spot the differences activities.

I really enjoyed completing this quality puzzle book. The pictures are well done and the difficulty was just right. Highly recommend to people who like spot-the-difference puzzles.

Second book I purchased from this series. Very difficult and very challenging.

The puzzles look too much alike I thought it would be different looking through out the book.
