I’ve burned by thumb 4 times because of the hanging hole!! Be warned be warned... other than the hole (which is function but a design flaw) they work great, and even 6 months later they look just like new.

Fantastic for protecting my granite counter from hot pans coming off of my ceramic glass stove and out of the oven. Had old-fashioned trivets that slid all over the counter. These do not slide - they do not move! Couldn't be happier.
