Ipoolight Universal 30 Feet Cord Small LED Color Changeable Underwater Pool/Spa Light Smartphone Bluetooth Control Outdoor Control Box

I bought this light over a year ago and had issues with the first control box as the light would only light up in red. They sent a new one but it was too late in the season for me to install it so I had to install it this spring when the water was warm enough. It's a balmy 72 degrees now!I was swapping out an old 12v Hayward light for this one so I ordered the 50 ft. cord option. It was a pain pulling the cord up through a junction box under the diving board then about 20 feet to the main switch but it got done. Once it was wired correctly (hire an electrician) and I had the app installed, the light worked great!The reaction time if you pair it with music is slower depending how far the music device is from the control box. Other than that the light was a huge success at our first party of the season and so much brighter than that old light!

For the money this is s great deal. Im not sure how long it will last - time will tell. I love the phone control and the lighing combinations. Wiring was easy and simple to follow. I put this in a 9x12 spa and replaced a 6" old very old named brand incandessant and like it so much i bought another one to replace the other 6" named brand one.Update - i added a second light and am glad i did.Sometime the software cant find the 2nd control box for independent control. I restart app and some times i have to reinstall app to make it find both devices. Both boxes are 6 feet apart.Still great value

Bought this in June 17, it is Sept. Worked fine at first. Now the light will not come on and the bluetooth will not connect............DO NOT BUY THIS LIGHT. Nothing in my set up has changed.......Revised. They were kind enough to send me a replacement light along with one to give to a friend! That is great customer service. Thank you!

Changing my intial review from 4 to 1 star.It rained today and the controller got wet. Obviously there is no gasket between the two cover halves. Now the light just weakly flickers on and off and will not connect. I’m guessing water got into it.So it lasted 6 months. Not acceptable.I’m hoping the company reads this review and makes it right and replaces the controller. Will keep you posted.Needs waterproof gasket between cover halves and longer pigtails.

Extremely disappointed that this light only lasted 2 years. Could of should of spent the extra 200 bucks and got a pentair color changing light th as t would of lasted 10 years. So disappointed. Was already disappointed in the brightness of some of the colors. This just finished it off.

I love the product and the fact that it is sealed makes it easier to accommodate different niches. I would purchase this product again. I will in fact get a pool sized one for the pool next.

Bought the large and small version. 15 months later, both are filled with water and no longer work. Do not buy ipoolight products.
