This works quite well. The only thing that I would change if I could is that the little handles stick out to the sides, and would work better if they stick straight up. As it is, they often jet out the side of a pa, if I’m not using a tall-sided sauce pan, and I have to use a fork or some other way to get the handles to stay inside while I put the lid on the pot.Also of note, if you have a certain diameter in mind, make sure you actually measure it. It has the diameter, of the round part, of my medium sized sauce pans. I would buy this again.

Really like this steamer both for size and stiffness. There are “ribs” supporting the basket, so it’s usable to the edges - the weight of veggies doesn’t tip it into the water below. Have used this type of steamer for years and they are far superior to the metal folding type. The only thing that kills them is letting the pot boil dry. (Of course, you can trim off the little bit of burnt legs and keep it going for a few more years!)

I over this little steamer. So easy to use and more importantly to clean! My kids will only eat veggies steamed so I use it constantly.

this product is NOT 100% silicone! it did not pass the pinch/twist test. otherwise it is nice and sturdy; it can easily hold a full batch of whatever you want to steam.
