Mezzaluna Chopper Set (Wood Cutting Board Included) Incredibly Sharp Stainless Steel

This is a very nice set. I was torn between one and two handed, but now I am glad I chose the two-handed for ease of use with arthritic hands. (you don't have to twist your wrist). The board has grippy feet so it doesn't slide around in use. This mezzaluna is nice and sharp - put away carefully, because the guards are filmsy - mine fell apart as I unpacked it. Time and use will tell how long it will stay sharp. For now, I am very satisfied.

Excellent quality--blades are razor sharp. I use it every day in my kitchen for chopping herbs etc.

I know the dimensions were written in the description, but evidently I didn't pay attention to them. This is way smaller than I thought it would be, making it less efficient, in my mind. My husband was cutting onions with it and had to constantly clean out the area between the blades, because it would fill up with chopped onions. Also, his hands are almost too big to hold on to it. It would probably be the perfect size for an older child to use, or a really petite adult. For that reason, I'll give it a 4. I should have paid attention to the dimensions.

This was the perfect gift to accompany a cooking class gift card! I bought one for my sister, my mother, and myself! I have used mine several times already and for herbs it’s fantastic!

This item was far smaller than advertised, plus the chopping board is too small to put anything but a tiny amount of substance to chop. Wish i would have known this before purchasing.

Chopped food squishes up through between the two blades; annoying. I had to get my hands are really dirty because the food kept getting on my hands so I had a choice to either allow that to continue happening or to push the food off of the blades. In addition, food got caught around the bottom of the handles.These unfortunate facts are a shame because the item does chop very well. In addition, it is nice that it does not hurt my hands to use.The other very unfortunate thing is that, as other customers have stated, there is no permanent solution for protecting the blades. The packaging comes with four tiny little guards for the very ends of the blades and two flimsy plastic covers for the entire blades. The flimsy plastic covers are little more than a glorified plastic wrap. I will be returning this and getting a longer single blade mezzaluna.

It is SHARP!!!! So uhh be careful washing it lol. The cutting board is a little lame I just use my regular cutting board but I love the mezzaluna

This is a great little set for chopping herbs. Its small enough for easy storage.
