I ordered this Samsung charge cord because I moved into a two-story home and wanted to have a charger upstairs and a charger downstairs for my new Samsung Galaxy Watch7 (which are notorious for only holding battery for a couple of days when you use all the functions).The good news is: This charge cord works great! Naturally, it's compatible with a Samsung watch because it is a Samsung cord. There are no issues with overheating, it connects magnetically and immediately, the length of the cord is perfect, it is easy to use and has the perfect design to fit the back of the watch snuggly and easily.It claims to be the Samsung brand, and so far I believe it! It cost more on the Samsung official site, so I bought it here instead.

Charges my Galaxy Watch 6 classic in a fraction of the time the standard one does. No-brainer purchase here.

It looks identical to the original charger that came with my watch, except for the fact that the cable is an inch or so shorter (about the diameter of the charging magnet). It's negligible. I tested and compared the original with this product, and the remaining time for fully charging each came back precisely the same. I don't know if that proves it is genuine, however. I've only used this product once, but it works just like a genuine Samsung watch charger. There are cheaper ones out there, but I am happy that I picked this one. It's still more affordable than buying one from Samsung.

Ok, I've read the reviews for this watch charger and I will try to help resolve unanswered questions about compatibility and authenticity.Ok, first thing is yes, this is compatible with the Samsung Watch8, as that's what I have and it charges just as quickly as the OEM charger I received with my watch. From 42% to 82% in about 20 minutes.Next, there are some reviews that question the authenticity of this charger. Does it have the Samsung name blatantly stamped on the top/botton/sides of the charging pad. No. However, that doesn't mean that it's not a genuine OEM Samsung product. It appears that Samsung is following Apple's design of imprinting in very small and inconspicuous labeling directly onto the cable.
