National Geographic Animal Wall Clock - Fun and Educational Wall Clock That Anounces Animal Sounds Every Hour!

I ordered the National Geographic Animal Wall Clock from DAKA. I ordered this for my place of employment to replace our bird clock. I wanted the animal wall clock to add a bit of humor to the office every hour. The wall clock features various animal sounds including the Lion, Polar Bear, Chimpanzee, and many more from around the world. My favorite was the Tiger. This wall clock was educational for me, as I did not know the sounds of some of the particular animals featured on the product. I felt as though the animal sounds where not true to their actual sound, as they sounded generic. I was not able to test out the night sensor as the lights in the office where always on, so I can not speak about this feature. The booklet that it comes with was nice, and I gave it to my 8 year old daughter to read and enjoy. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a unique clock for an area. The instruction are easy for resetting.

It is a fun clock (although most of the "roars" sound identical, and some don't sound like their animal at all). My problem is that no matter how many times I've adjusted it I can't get the right sounds at the right time (it's generally 3 hours off), and yes, I've used the "reset" button multiple times. We've still had fun with it "oh, it's elephant o'clock" etc

I ordered this item from Stores123 12 days before Christmas. It was clearly stated that it would arrive prior to Christmas. It did not come. They did manage to CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD eleven days before Christmas. When I wrote to them they acknowledged that I did not get the item because it was 'lost in transit'. UPS says they never got it. Stores123 said they would look into it and I am guessing they will get back to me at some UNKNOWN date about it. This seller doesn't seem to care to correct it in any immediate time frame so that the Christmas gift will be at my door as soon as possible. They only have 4 of these left in stock so when they admit they lost my order, I am guessing there won't be any left in stock to send at that time so I will get to wait even longer. This company doesn't seem to care a hoot about what the customer needs once they have your money. I do not recommend buying anything from 123Store!

Looks great and sound great, however after initially making the correct sounds at the correct time it went on the blink. Now it chooses to make it's sounds in a random manner. No sounds for any number of ours then it does make an animal noise that does not match the time. Then no sounds again, for a random number of hours and a gain a animal sound that doesn't match the hour. Beautiful clock and it does keep time so I will keep the clock. would not recommend for someone who actually want it do what is advertised..

As I said, Lion and Tiger roars are BAD ... others are very natural. Volume of sounds could have been higher as well, but not too bad. Overall I am happy though, since 10 good animal sounds are there, the clock looks good.

The sounds are kind of sickly sounding, I had a similar product that this was bought to replace and the sounds on it (I think it came from WWF) were much better.

The clock is great. However, the animal sounds that are hear at each hour do not match the animal represented at a given hour. For example, a lion chirps like a dolphin! Strange animals in this clock!

I like it, pictures are nice but some of the sounds are not good. Wolf and lion are very good.It's not expensive, I feel I got what I paid for. The educational picture cards are nice for children.
