I work at petco and have three hamsters. We do sell a product very similar to this, but it's a teeny tiny quantity for about the same price as this! With three hamsters, not worth it, but this product is amazing. It has so many goodies in it from sticks, to leaves and dried flowers. The sticks in particular are nice for teeth-grinding which means I dont need to buy those separately in addition to everything else! I scatter this amongst their cages for them to forage and it's all gone by morning. It has this rich herbal, woody smell to it which is also kind of nice, but stront to those who may be sensitive to it. I've bought this twice and will continue to do so!

Unfortunately my bum doesn't seem to like it very much. But it's so beautiful and smells so good and it's very high quality so I'm going to keep trying and giving it to him for a little snack. If you have a fussy little guy I don't know if I would recommend buying it

I've purchased this nature's salad forage several times over the past few years and my guinea pigs absolutely love it. It's been a bit more difficult to find nowadays and the price has gone up a bit, but my piggies are incredibly picky, so finding something they truly enjoy is feels worth the extra effort. There's a great mix of herbs, pea flakes and some grains as well that give the piggies plenty to munch on and keep them interested. Not to mention, because of the herbs, it's also nice and fragrant. This company's customer service is also really good. When my package got lost in the mail, they were super helpful and prompt in their assistance, and reshipped this product to me, free of charge. My piggies and I are grateful and we will most certainly be purchasing this product from this seller again in the near future.

When you can get it. This one is easier to get than the other salad blend. I wish Amazon would carry more from this company. Happy Bun Bun, Happy Moma’s

First reaction was what the heck was this: I sprinkled this over their hay. They moved to another spot where there was hay without it. It's new so perhaps they will try it later. I will update this review if things change. My biggest problem with this was that the bag was so pummeled in the shipping container that a lot of it turned to dust. I don't know if it was not particularly fresh so broke up a lot or what. It was packed with blankets I ordered. Might try a different brand and hope for different results.Now a few days later, Daisy my guinea pig really likes it a lot while Minnie is more interested in the hay than what is sprinkled on it. Daisy rather hogs it though so she might just not think it's worth the trouble. I feel much better about the purchase and plan to see if my two boy guinea pigs might like it now. I do wish it had not had so much of it turned it powder in transit which is why it is not a five star rating now.

My guinea pigs ADORE this.Now, it did take some convincing to get them to eat it at first, so be patient. After some gentle nudging (and waving it in front of their noses for 10 minutes), they finally decided to taste test. I have 5, and all of them go ham for it now. They start running around, walking on top of eachother, shoving their way to the front. It smells beautiful and the packaging is simple.Plus, it has that plastic crinkling sound that makes the piggies go crazy. My only criticism is that the package is pretty small.I've bought it a few times now though, and would highly recommend!

When I got this bag of what looks like compost I thought I had gotten ripped off. I figured oh well, let's try it. I put our 2 girls in the playpen and poured a small pile in the middle. You would've thought they have never ate before! They stayed at that stack until it was nothing but POWDER! WOW did they love it! The product REALLY REALLY REALLY needs to be shipped in a better way. Right now it's loose and must get jostled around and it makes it into bits. Maybe they could vacuum pack it or something? Or put it in a tight box? It's a great product but it just needs a better shipping method.

We have a very picky skinny pig (3+ yrs old) who rejects anything new. Rosewood Salad was nothing different as she barely sniffed it for a second before snubbing her nose to it. I forgot all about the pile that I put in her cage and the next day it was completely gone. I had asked my wife if she removed it and she said no - I went to give her more salad and I could barely get my hand down into her pen before she grabbed it out of my hand. She absolutely LOVES this stuff, and can't get enough of it. Great product!

I was looking for something to encourage my bunny to spend more time in his hay box. He used to pretty much ignore it and just munch occasionally, much to my vet's dismay. Sprinkling some of this into his hay has made such a difference. Now he leaps into his hay box as soon as I put it on the floor. He also will play with his foraging toy as long as he knows he can find some of this tasty snack in it! Extra bonus - it is great value for the money!

The bag didnt have any sort of zipper so i used a spare container. My hamster enjoyed it when ever i sprinkled it around his cage and was out of it after a good long 2 months. Very happy with this.
