Very nice socks. Excellent cushioning. I'm taking a star off because of the quick-dry claim. I washed them by hand in cold water. One pair I wrung out as best I could by hand and hung them to dry. Another pair I rolled up in a thick towel to squeeze out the excess. Hung them to dry as well. Indoor temp was 70 F degrees. The hand-wrung socks took twice as long to dry. 8 hrs. If you are on the trail, and don't have a thick towel to squeeze out excess water, you are looking at damp socks in the morning. Factor in outdoor conditions at 70 degrees or under, and you have a problem. Still, these are good, heavy socks. I'm taking them on the road, and adapting.

I bought the famous name-brand socks (Darn Tough) before and they didn’t last forever as their advertisement. So I decided to try this new brand at one quarter of the price. Put them side-by-side, they look almost identical (even logo). And these new socks are thicker and feel a little better.

Nice and snug and thick perfect for a hike or a run!

Only complaint is that its out of stock. Very comfortable, warm, and fits well (if you wear 9.5 or 10 US size shoes, they are perfect as they do cover up past your ankle)

I walked all over Europe in these and they were excellent. Easy to wash, quick to dry and fit well. I couldn't have asked for better.

These socks are thicker than reg socks and fit great!
