Worked very well, although it had some scarey and disgusting moments!
We were understandably skeptical about this product. However, we were also very concerned about using a plumber again, which costs us over $150. The last time he also made us sign a release form to snake our bathroom sink. The reasoning was, being that the plumbing is very old, and had probably been subjected to numerous snakings, as well as caustic drain cleaners, the old pipes or joints could crumble and incur an libelous expense. We were not happy about that prospect, as a nearly 100 year old house like ours would require some serious floor and wall demolition. Our bathroom has a problematic sink, and tub. We have been using a $3 plastic snake to remove hair from the bathtub frequently now, and that has worked great for over a year or so, so we have not needed to snake that for a while. Unfortunately, that tool does nothing for the sink. We applied the product as required to the sink, and after day three, it seemed to run a little better. On that day, I was taking a shower, and the water started to back up in the tub, and then stopped flowing completely, creating 2-3 of standing water. Oh Fudgecakes! I figured the gunk had dislodged from the sink drain, and caused a clog at the junction. I ran some hot water in the sink, and it seemed to be flowing a bit better, I left it running. I got out the plunger, held a very wet washcloth over the overflow inlet on the tub, and started plunging away. Oh my.... seriously black gook started to come out into the tub from the drain, and out of the overflow! It kept coming out, and invaded the standing water like the Supernatural episode with the release of the Leviathans into the water supply! I stood back, and watched it spread, semi-panic stricken, and was thankful that she was not home. She would have freaked, it was truly disgusting. The water in the sink was still running hot water down the drain, as I continued to watch this horror invade our tub! Then, all of the sudden, the black ick started to flow back down the drain, and I heard a draining sort of noise! When the standing water was nearly drained, I then ran a lot of hot water down the drain in the tub, while also running the sink. After several minutes, the tub was flowing better than it had in a while, and the sink was also draining completely with no slowdown! I still had to clean the tub out for a while, but wow! It worked! My oly regret s that I did not take a video of the whole invasion of the black gook, and how it then receded back from whence it came. It would have been great B-Roll!. So, in summary, best $11.00 we have spent in a while! We will continue to treat both drains once a month, and hopefully, we will not have to burn hard earned money with the plumber for this problem. Give it a whirl, just know that you might have to lend a helping hand, and it could get gross!

DId not work for blocked sink. Make sure to melt it to water before you use it.
It did not really work.I used it to clean the drain at my sink.Listen.Make sure to melt them, like their instruction says, before you use it.If you just pour the powder into the tube, your cloak would be worse with these powder. However, even though I melted and used it, it did not work for me.

Worked great on my bathroom sink
My bathroom sink was draining slowly, probably due to soap gunk and hair. I am in an apartment and didn’t want a caustic drain cleaner that might damage the plumbing, so I took a chance on this. In a nutshell: it worked. The process of using it is not difficult, but leaving it for 6 hours is too short for overnight or while I’m at work, and it’s a bit too long for any evening after I get home. So finding a time to use it (for the recommended 6 hours) is my only complaint. It’s kind of like activating yeast then pouring it carefully down the drain (so the grains don’t just hang out in the sink basin), waiting, then run the water. It improved the speed of water draining after the first use, but I repeated it a couple of days later, and my sink is draining even better.

Hard to use and useless
I'll start by saying I've used other enzymatic drain cleaners and had good experiences, but the costs were mounting. My pipes build up organic sludge. A snake is only good for punching a small hole through the sludge, but it's a very short lived solution. So I had been using liquid enzymatic cleaners, but to treat all of the drains monthly was adding up. This option was much cheaper per treatment. Unfortunately, the flakes do not dissolve in the liquid and most of them refuse to go down the drain. After doing my best to get them down the drain, month after month, I've noticed the pipes have returned to their previous, sludge filled state. I really wanted this to work but I'm going to end up throwing this out. I can't say for sure it's made the pipes more clogged, but it sure isn't helping any.

Slow but thorough results
Issue; Slow bathroom sink drainage. I added the natural enzyme drain cleaner after removing the hair with a plastic hair remover and was disappointed with all the sandy mixture and no visible results the first day after waiting 8 hours. The next day the sink had standing water & was complete clogged! I added another scoop while wondering if I could send it back for a refund. 3rd day was the charm! This morning my sink wasn’t clogged & ran more freely than when we moved in last November! No standing water or slow draining when I cleaned it. No big plumbing bill. Treated the rest of the sinks in the house. I am very pleased with the product & results. :-)

Good price, no scent, and actually works
I’ve noticed how my drain would never be clear no matter how many times I remove hairs etc then I read about this product when I was searching for drano. I ended up adding this to my cart because the product says that it can clean out old pipes. And my home is almost 70 years old so why not. I followed the directions and it says to use for 3 days consecutively or until the drain is clear. I ended up using this for 5 days consecutively and now my drain runs like new. The product had almost no scent, didn’t seem harsh, and it looked natural. It came in a big jar so I have enough to use it here at home or at my business. The price was a big plus. For almost $11 your drain can be running like new. No need to call plumbers who charge lots of $$$ to do the same job. Highly recommended to keep your pipes clean out of all that buildup especially for older homes.
